CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I need prayer. I just got some news. And this news was on top of other stresses I've been dealing with. I feel like crying and/or vomiting. Ok, now I am crying.

Problem is the issue (in addition to the already existing issues) has not been resolved, so here's hoping/praying that the peaceful feeling lasts and this situation resolves in a good way.

In the long run, the peace is more important than the situation. All situations will eventually work out for good, it's just finding peace and security and comfort in God when the situations don't look all that good from our earthly perspective.

Thanks to all of you who prayed for my foot issue. The swelling and pain is gone. We never did figure out what it was, but I can walk normal again!
Please pray for my arm, that the rash heals quickly and I can sleep well tonight without itching too bad. Thanks loves!

Please pray for my Dad. His heart is out of rhythm again. The doctor has already told him he's on too many medications, so what does she do??? Adds more I almost wonder if that isn't the problem right there.. too many medicines!
Anyways, prayers for wisdom, guidance, and healing are greatly appreciated. And for my dad to be bold and courageous and to take a stand. Thanks!
