No one can tell who your comments are referring to, unless you use the quote button to respond. Your comments appear divorced from any other context that would give them meaning.

Having said that, I just posted a response to your claim that the law of sin and death has to read "You shall not covet" somewhere in it. Suffice to say that your premise isn't going to garner support, and that will be today's understatement. Anyway, I would appreciate your acknowledgement of my post.

I don't recall anyone discussing the annual sabbaths of the feasts - only the weekly sabbath and in one or two places how it contrasts against God's "My rest" that is permanent.

All I did was ask a few questions (I got no answers) and drop passages from the Bible into your lap. I didn't claim to know anything apart from Jesus Christ, and Him crucified.

Wow! This has been a firecracker of a thread. Hopefully now that all the flash and noise is over it will die out just as quickly.

It is truly absurd to expect any Christian here at CF to accept the Gospel of Thomas as anything other than what it is - a non-canonical Gnostic writing that God Himself rejected through His Church.

Thus, the foundation for this thread is hopelessly doomed to failure. As I stated early in this thread 2010 is off to an amazingly absurd and silly start here.

Back in the time when the apostles were writing the new testament they had alot of trouble with the gnostics. Intellectual people who were saying alot of things they ought not, and pulling people from the early church. This was not even close to that. Just an immature Christian, delusioned about something trying to drop some bombs. Been there, done that.
