CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

ijwts- i truly don't understand people. Some of them will never allow me to be different from what they negatively think of me- even when it's blatently not true. Do people just really sit around and think untrue stuff up about others based on petty feelings? If that's normal, i'm very very glad to not fit.

Good luck! I wish I had an exam to study for because that would mean I'm back in school and getting closer to a better life.
On the plus side, I am still researching my options....

IJWTS: I had suspected a male coworker of being gay and got it confirmed yesterday in a weird conversation with the man regarding the song "It's Raining Men". Sweet guy/funny/kinda cute/What a waste....lol

IJWTS - I got a weird email today, almost creepy from a gal I never met, or talked to, just emailed a couple times and that was it. Oh well!

IJWTS I woke up a lot last nite so I'm tired right now and could use a nap. Unfortunately, I'm sitting in an office in Orlando right now waiting for my boss to call me and let me know what time we're meeting up for lunch. If it wasn't so hot outside I would go nap in my car until she called.
