CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

IJWTS I am going to severely fail this test Saturday and it will be a waste of $165 and a couple of hours of my life.... that is what I get for letting my parents talk me into taking an exam on a subject that I don't have the classes for or knowledge of.

I wish I was that confident... i went through the study information for a couple of hours today, and I don't think I have a prayer of passing this thing. I have not taken the classes needed to have the info to pass this test.

What drives me nuts about special education is that NONE of it is common sense. It is all some weird out there stuff. So if you try to use logic and think it through, it does no good on the test.

really? I thought alot was common sense. I am an ECE and I have my Special Needs Educator and Infant Toddler Educator Licence as well. In a Daycare our main goal is to include SN into every aspect of our program, I know its different in a school setting though. Is there anyway I can help you?

seems so young, our Elementary schools go to Grade 7 but we dont have any middle school or junior high here its right to High School for grade 8

It depends on the district here... a lot of them end at 5th grade and do a middle school system for 6-8 grades. The high school I graduated from and a lot of the schools in that area do a junior high system (which I greatly prefer) which has a junior high for 7-9 grades and high school is just 10-12.
