CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Cranky octogenarian at heart
The second shrubbery scene where the knights who used to say "Ni!" command Arthur to get a second shrubberry (and the whole landscaping design) and then to find the mightiest tree in the forest and cut it down with a herring.
I told my husband when he got home and of course I immediately got to listen to *his* version of the entire scene. Monty Python rocks!

well I suppose we really do have to expect problems - they were trying to update after the 'hacking' and things went wrong with that so they had to go back to a stage prior to the 'hacking' .
I suppose the database had been routinely backed up and had things up to the 27th March and not afterwards.
It is CF of course and weird things can and do happen

I lost half my rep points because of it. I am ticked. Thank God CF would not let me renew my membership about a month ago because now I don't want to renew it. If they want my money they need to give me my reps back.

Just be happy the hackers didn't cause more problems, they can't exactly do anything about it. Apparently a lot of Christian sites have gotten hacked. Devil on the move during western Holy Week.
