CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Sacrarligious? No no... It's Sacra-LICIOUS.
I just noticed that a certain bishop without his klobuk on looked alot like the image they had for God in Monty Python and the Holy Grail. I am specifically referring to the scene where God appears to Arthur in the clouds and gives him his quest for the Grail.

Eh....10am on a weekday morning when I have a child to get to school. Maybe when he's older and can walk to school by himself, I can make it to weekday services....

I like Spring Break. Only because it is a week without school and I do not work until tomorrow (Thursday).
Which means I actually had a few nights where I caught a decent amount of sleep!
And a few days away from the forums. Shame the bliss could not last, but things get very boring very quickly.

Cranky octogenarian at heart
My priest quoted a scene from Monty Python during catechesis this morning. Verbatim... with voices and everything. (don't ask. We got off on a tangent and ended up with the wonderful absurdity of Monty Python).

cobweb, you have no idea how happy that makes me! Fr. Stephen loves Monty Python, too. Haha. Plus, he's crazy, in a good way, so sermons are never boring!
