Honestly, I think you should not have a worry. You are a reputable woman who brings very good things to this thread. I understood that there those who were hounding you who had a vendetta previously with you. I saw no harm in any post. Nothing obvious could be seen. I'm sort of in the dark about it all. I'm just glad you're still here.

Sometimes it's nice to be naive. Don't share any details, unless there's something I can do to help. In this case, I think I can't. I can pray though.

Hi, Everyone..

Wanted to let you all know the Good News..

Mike & I are officially members of Green Mountain again.. & on Sunday, we got called to the front with a half dozen or so who also became members..

As Mike & I were going down the middle aisle, we were holding hands & I was trying NOT to cry.. Mike said Go Faster.. Sooo.. I did..

Later he told me he was kidding.. because I was going so fast that he was having a hard time keeping up.. as I had his hand in mine too.. lol.. he said it was a wonder that he did not fall on his face.. his feet were bothering him..

I told him if he had, I probably would have dragged him down the aisle.. I REALLY thought he wanted me to go faster.. lol..

Also, Pastor John emailed me asking if I would join the tech team.. I went to Worship Ministry practice last Thursday.. learned how to use SongShowPlus & Audacity.. and got the PowerPoints ready.. got the songs all ready.. and ran the comupters on Sunday..

The only thing I missed was being able to way my flags.. but there are 6 or 8 of us on the team, so each only has to do it once every 6 - 8 weeks..

It is awesome.. we were away for about 2 1/2 years.. and when we came back.. it was like we had never left.. everyone came up to me with, Are you back?!?! Just hugs & love.. that was about 7 months ago..

When Pastor called us to the front, I heard ALL RIGHT from someone in the seats..

Here it the link to the church website.. The church has some history.. especially recent history..

The original building was beautiful.. and huge.. but a year & a half ago, it was struck by lightening.. and destroyed..

There was a Methodist church in the down town area that had closed.. Green Mt ended up renting it.. and then buying it..

A prophet was recently at the church.. he had NO idea that the church had burned.. knew nothing of the history.. he said that the congregation had been praying for the fire of God to fall, but that it had come in a different way than expected.. He said he smelled smoke & heard sirens..

He said the fire of God was going to fall again.. but in a different way.. he said he felt God's presence in the church now.. but that God was going to do something wonderful there.. that when you walked in, His presence would be so powerful that you would hardly be able to stand..

He said God had to get us putof our comfort zone or we would never move to where He wants us.. and that the move of God will not be like anything we expect..

I am SOOOO excited by this Word! I just want more & more of Him..

Your new church building (the old church) is a stunning building! Am I to take it that the banquet facility is the refurbished church that was destroyed by fire? That is a stunning facility too!

I am sure your church makes an impact on your city and the Lord is going before you to harvest souls for His glory!

Wow! Sounds so wonderful, what the Lord is doing in your life and church. Hope Mike keeps up with you.

I used to do Songshow at our church once a month, a part of being on our praise team. I miss our praise team so much. There was a strong bond there as we ministered week after week together. Now I am building relationships with ladies at a Life Group that meets Monday mornings, a necessity especially if I have to work on Sunday. We spend nearly half our time in prayer. And we have been getting awesome results! The Lord hears and answers. Hallelujah!

GJ, Fa, I don't know if you know, but I am praying about going to eastern Europe on a mission trip in May with 11 others from church. I've been granted the time off from work already. There are needs pressing me, and doubts assail me, and fear to deal with, but through God I can overcome them all. I am not faint at heart for the Greater One is in me.

Right now I am assembling a prayer team, those who will be intercessors. I know there will be many who pray here and there, but there will be a few who have a call to link with me as an intercessor. If the Lord speaks to you about this let me know. I will share more with you if you are that one. I don't want to put details out on the thread. I can pm you a concise list of prayer points if you choose to pray with me.

There are reports from previous members who went on mission trips who after returning were asked by there prayer team what happened on such and such day only to find there was a specific thing happening and prayer had altered events. This is a vital key to seeing the Lord's will come to pass.

The stained glass windows are beautiful.. and the builing is huge.. 4 stories.. it is right downtown & a great place to evangelize.. and there is a teen 'night club' right across the street..

Yes the banquet facility is the 'old' church.. and you would not believe the sunsets from that property..

We've been going to Sunday Services.. Tuesday Bible Study.. Saturday Cororate Prayer.. and now Thursdays when I'm set to do the music..

Colossians 2:6 Therefore as you have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, 7 having been firmly rooted and now being built up in Him and established in your faith, just as you were instructed, and overflowing with gratitude.



As a parent I have to remind my children to be overflowing with gratitude, or thankfulness. Then I stop to think, am I overflowing gratitude?


When we're thankful, there's no room for sadness. Also we're not complaining. Ever try to complain and give thanks at the same time?


Being thankful is a good way to keep our attitudes in check.
