I think it is hard to tell because my server sometimes is also slow... I work with 3 bars usualy and sometimes it has 4 bars and above. You can tell when it is slow even yahoo is slow to load...;)

Earlier after the site came back I lost a post.. It is not the first time.. It just does not load... :(... I do not know if it is a glitz or just my connection :(...

Despite the early go, I appreciated that there were actually status updates posted so we knew what was going on during the outage. Communication is a beautiful thing, and I'm glad to see it existed during this down-time. Thanks.

I didn't see any of these... But I'm glad someone did...

I started trying to log in at about 5:00 PM Pacific... Gave up at 9:00 PM...

Then tried one last time at about 10:15 PM and got in...

It seemed maybe just a little bit faster at times...

Thanks Paul,

Ty

When I initially tried, I was just getting the "server not found" message. I figured then that they jumped a day early on the announcement.

Around 3:00 PST, I started seeing the migration message, saying DNS was involved too and to keep trying if it didn't load. For about 45 minutes, multiple attempts to reload pages would get me into threads eventually, but I'd get that message about 4 out of 5 times.

Maybe an hour later, I got messages that there was a problem with user logins, and not to try to log in until that message went away.

Then everything was completely offline for a while. By the time I came back to the computer, it was back up.

I have cable too, and now that I see things improving, my server or the weather may have been the problem.
I also noticed my page load (# posts/page) were set at the max; I reset it to default and things have been fine since.
Thanks so much for the upgrades; I hope all is going well for you Paul
God bless you +

The past two days I have NOT been getting email notifications of private messages received.
I have not changed any of my settings and tests from other sites I have notification settings on are working fine.
I reported it in the BUG section today; has anyone else been having this problem?
