If we are going to trust Pauls revelations,and guidance,than I think we have to not forget an important issue here..
After all,it is scripture.
This verse below is right out of the word of God too..
It is not a gnat,just because it is one verse..
After all,John 3:16 is but one verse...
If healings are an assolute,an an all for all,all the time condition..
What happened here?

As you know, it was because of an illness that I first preached the gospel to you. Even though my illness was a trial to you, you did not treat me with contempt or scorn. Instead, you welcomed me as if I were an angel of God, as if I were Christ Jesus himself.
Also,why did he not just heal poor ole Timothy?

Seems like we need to have a whole view of scriptures..
Since Spiritman won't address these issues perhaps I can. We relate to God on the basis of faith. That's how we receive everything from God. Furthermore, healing isn't always instantaneous. Some healings take time with lots of prayer and study involved.
Regarding Trophimus, perhaps he didn't have faith to be healed. In order to receive healing you have to believe you will receive it. Remember that Jesus often couldn't do miracles in some towns because of unbelief. Also, Paul was arrested shortly after leaving Trophimus; although the book of Acts oddly doesn't say that Paul passed through Miletus on his way to Rome. It could be that Paul was released from prison in Rome briefly, passed through Miletus then arrested again. Whatever the case, Paul cannot be blamed for Trophimus not being healed. There was either not enough time to teach him, Trophimus simply didn't believe, or his healing came slowly and Paul had to depart so quickly that Trophimus was still sick when he left.
As for Paul's infirmities; remember that Paul was beaten badly (and left for dead) in Lystra (Acts 14:19) which is in the Galatian region. Paul was in a bad way from the beating while he preached in Galatia and it is likely that this is the infirmity he is speaking of in his letter to the Galatians.
As for Timothy, maybe polluted water was making him sick? Paul told him to stop drinking only water and drink wine (real wine, not fermented or watered down or whatever else legalists like to believe). Sometimes God can give a practical cure to our healing, and sometimes healing involves going to the doctor. Not all healing has to be a supernatural, instantaneous manifestation. In fact, in my own experience (and the experience I've seen of others close to me) healing is often slow and a matter of trusting God daily. Sometimes people don't actually have the faith for a supernatural healing, but nevertheless believe that God can heal and so they go to the doctor trusting that God will heal them via medicine.
The verses you quoted don't disprove that healing is in the atonement. There are many factors involved in healing as I've tried to clarify in this post. It is not God's will for us to be sick. One day we will all die, but nowhere in the Bible does it say we have to die of sickness.
