Sexual orientation is a politically correct term that is basically a lie. I know I am oriented to have sex. The details are a bit blurry though I prefer women but even my hand will do in a pinch. Does that mean I am sexually oriented to have sex with my hand.

I admit I find having sex with a dead person repulsive but then I was most likely indoctrinated that way unlike those who are "sexually oriented" to do so.

Both the sexual orientations I mentioned above are sin if those tempted decide to give in to temptation.

I am sorry! I believe I confused you. I wrote my conclusion first and my argument that reached the conclusion afterward thus my citation was included though not where expected. I believe it is generally done the other way.

So the Christian position can only be that homosexual practice is error, and thus some Christians are in error and need to revise their thinking.

Actually, what you wrote later didn't support what you wrote before. You said that the idea of sexual orientation is a lie. However, according to observations, there are different people who have different sexual orientations... such as heterosexuality, homosexuality, bisexuality and asexuality. In order for you to prove that the idea of sexual orientation is a lie, you'd need to provide information about some scientific observations made that disproved the idea that different people have different sexual orientations.

Psychology is more of a pseudo science as it is very subjective and can certainly be politically swayed. For instance a group of experts got together and voted on whether or not homosexuality is a form of insanity. The last I knew the democratic process was political and not scientific.

Actually there is no consensus of proof even in the scientific community that sexual orientation is proven. I dont hate homosexuals, I just recognise homosexual practice as error so I would look on being a religious hatemonger as something of a compliment.

I want to point out that your statement is dogmatic because it lacks a sound and valid argument to support it unlike my earlier statement you are attempting to dispute. I assume you are attempting to test the soundness of my premise that one can be sexually oriented to have sex with anything. In my limited experience what is needed for a male is the idea of sexual pleasure so if I associate sexual pleasure with my hand then I can be sexually oriented to it. That is a trick of the mind that humans seem to have according to a study I heard and you can probably replace a hand with a tree, an animal, or anything else for that matter.
