*I nearly opened with something that's addressed to the Habitation of Demons, but is certainly not a rebuke. But I'm not looking for more reports today*

I find it funny that my rebuke contained the first half of the new commandment, but left out "The second is like it, love your neighbor as yourself. On these two hang all the law and the prophets." Some people have issue with that one. Easier to focus on loving God, but if you just do that, you're not obeying the law or the prophets. Have to love your neighbor, too.

After all, love is the law, love under will.

CF regular Gukkor brought to my attention this interesting essay on Universalism http://www.franciscan-anglican.com/Universalism.htm -- basically, that everyone gets to paradise eventually. I don't agree with the author's conclusions 100% -- I see too many similarities between all faiths and philosophies -- but it's a thought-provoking read nonetheless.

So can I get added to Texas Sky's rebuke list and see another list of scriptural invocations attempting to ward off the evil of disagreeing?

Love is not smiling as your loved one steps out in front of a fast moving truck. Love is not allowing someone to believe in a lie because they like the lie they believe in.

Love is the truth.
And the truth is, God does not share His throne, nor does He tolerate people worshipping anyone other than God.

As to the verse. Don't twist scripture. The bible is clear. The greatest commandment is to love God with all your heart, all your soul and all your mind.
The second-greatest is love your neighbor.

However, you cannot love God with all you are if you split your devotion between God and your celtic dieties.

That you do not like the truth does not make telling you the truth unloving. What you are doing is sinful. Pure and simple.

There is not a SINGLE SOLITARY verse in the bible that supports the position that God approves of the worship of anyone or anything other than God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. Yet you continue to spread that lie.

And worse you spread it to defend a religion you and the entire world knows is man-made by a man who is dead in his sin.

The fact is, I've probably done more research into Wicca than most self-proclaiming Wiccans. I started out with the research as part of a college journalism class. The more I dug, the more amazed I was at how little many people who claim to be Wiccans actually know about what Gardner taught, or about what the so-called leaders of Wicca teach.

I know God's word clearly too.
Do you know it, or the interpretation handed to you by others? (serious question... have you studied the word in depth in numerous translations with cultural context so you understand)
"Thou shalt have no other God's before me," is the first commandment listed in the bible. Christ, when asked, what is the greatest commandment said, "Love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, all thy soul, and all they mind." He also stated, "No man comes unto the Father except by me." And He repeated, in His own ministry, "Thou shalt have no other Gods before me."
Do you honor the Sabbath and keep it holy? Probably not. But you say "that's different"... Where does it say that? It doesn't. We feel free to interpret away anything we please. Either the word is the word or it is not.
Any way you cut it, idol worship is condemned by God.
God freely admits, "I am a jealous God."

The condemnation of witchcraft is not only found in the old testament. It is found in the book of Galations in the new testament. The book of Acts shows that when witchcraft appeared, Paul responded to it by commanding a demon to leave a woman.

No. You percieve it that way. Can I say being a liar and Christian is blaspheme? No. Most people are liars. The sin does not equal the sinner... and no sin is greater than another in this way (and that's not even what blasphemy is so it's not even correct usage). You want to grade sin and you can't do it. You're clinging to the exact thing God said would cause you to surely die.
Christ cannot be "your all," if your "all" is the worship of a goddess over god the Father. Note, Wicca does not teach that there is "one God, and it is a female." It teaches both male and female, with male as the lesser.

It denies the authority of God the Father as King of Kings.
It denies the authority of Christ as Prince of Peace.

Matthew 6:24 says it clearly, ""No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to one and despise the other."

1 Kings 18:21 Elijah came near to all the people and said, "How long will you hesitate between two opinions? If the LORD is God, follow Him; but if Baal, follow him." But the people did not answer him a word.

James 4:4 You adulteresses, do you not know that friendship with the world is hostility toward God? Therefore whoever wishes to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.

You are not the judge of anyone's heart, so to dismiss and say because A, B and C are not met someone is not Christian is not your place. To deny anyone is not your place. I denounce the idea that anything but Christ makes us christian.

Are we talking about the Sunday Sabbath or the Saturday Sabbath here? A few years ago some Christian group was putting up billboards along the highway saying "Sunday Sabbath = Mark of the Beast," so apparently it is extreeeeeemely important that people get this right.
