CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

No. Someone told me that they had two characters here. I just am puzzled.
I feel like it takes enough time just to be one person...
Ok, just read all these... I thought something was going on, but it's just about sock issues in general.Some have 2 or 3 or 4 accounts for various reasons.
When I was on staff, I created a sock for teaching purposes (that bad sock received multiple infractions.) Some have second accounts as CF Angels or the Pet Savers (I forget what they are called). Some make socks for blessing funds to support BE games. Some make socks to be able to rep people more. Some make socks so that they can debate from a position of greater anonymity. And some make socks to get around bans.
I guess there's lots of reasons to have alternate accounts. Some justified, some not.

I agree some socks are fine & others are not - I know a few that were created to cause trouble and strife...
God knows the heart - I'll let Him deal with all that.

Hi, everyone! I've been busy making a quilt for a fund-raiser so I haven't been on a whole lot today, except over in the argument .......... eh.... debate forum getting all kinda riled up after some good old-fashioned baiting from some of the members who are excellent at doing that and then reporting my posts.So I'm not in a real good mood. Sorry.
To me to make a quilting is hard. I made a small wall quilt over a dozen years ago and took me almost a whole year to quilt it. (yes I was kinda lazy about it but still took forever). Never did one again.
Takes a lot of skill and patience to make a quilt! So good for you making it!
Oh I don't like the debate forums. I try to stay away from them!
