Hi, everyone! I've been busy making a quilt for a fund-raiser so I haven't been on a whole lot today, except over in the argument .......... eh.... debate forum getting all kinda riled up after some good old-fashioned baiting from some of the members who are excellent at doing that and then reporting my posts. So I'm not in a real good mood. Sorry.

Thanks, guys. Didn't mean to vent here, it just came out. I should just try to stay away from there but it's hard, that is where I was confined when I first came to CF for the first year and a half, and I keep hoping that I will be able to help someone there the way I was helped.

I used to spend all my time there when I first came to CF four years ago. That is a tough forum to debate in. They seem to think they know Scripture better than anyone, but they don't know it at all, because they don't have the faith that it needs to be mixed with.

No, I had the same name.

Maybe I am thinking of a different forum. It was one that non-Christians could ask questions in. Some of those questions were tough.

I was thinking about this, Edie. That's great advice for Dawn.

I found the non-Christian forums difficult for that very reason--they would bring their friends and gang up on me. In the end, I resorted to using the Word of God--who can argue with that? Well, they did anyway. But I have to believe that the Word which is living and active and sharper than a two-edged sword would somehow not return to God void. I still believe that.
