CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Just finished my thank you reppies....I won't get back on til last tonight.
My mom is back in the hospital. Sunday night when we celebrated my daughter's birthday, she was really acting strange. Thinking it was 1985, thinking she was 37 (she is 74), really not being herself and not making much sense. We went to the ER on the suggestion of her visiting nurse, who thought my mom might have had a stroke. So far, they discovered that her potassium level is really high (not a good thing) and her kidneys are a little more worse than before. She refuses to go on dialysis (sp), and has a multiple of health issues (congestive heart failure, diabetes, lung disease). I will be headed out to visit her after work. (would take off today, but I am training our replacements....it is all set up)

I am in Delaware. We got really heavy rains and lots of wind last night. Got flood warnings all over. (maybe they looked in my back yard)

Her health has been getting progressively worse each year. She refuses to eat properly, so her blood sugar levels are always really high which affects everything. (She eats a lot of sugary carbs) She likes to have people wait on her and feel sorry for her, so she sometimes over dramatizes, making me and my sister going crazy taking her to the hospital or doctors, only to find out that her health was the same as her last docor visit. She lives with my sister and her children. It is about an hour communte for me to get there.
I really appreciate the prayers.
