make another post Two so I can shove you over! LOLHey everyone. We had some nasty weather yesterday. I've had my computer off since around 12:30pm. We lost power last night a couple of times. I was so hoping I would have come back to see me over 18M.

I missed being online yesterday. It got so windy out here and they were talking about hail and some nasty thunderstorms and this was around noon. So I turned off and unplugged my computer. I gave up on the umbrella and just got wet. Anyway, everything seemed to be okay last night. I mean we were having rain and it was really windy out. But we had power. That is until 9pm right as American Idol was finishing up.It didn't come back on until almost 10:30. 
We haven't heard anything to confirm it but we had thought a tornado had touched down somewhere nearby because of the sound. I had called my mom who lives not quite 10 minutes from me and she had heard the same thing. 
Supposed to be windy today too but no weather like yesterday. 
I wanted to be online last night so bad. Thank you again Nadiine for the push.
Nadiine. He was in some pain yesterday morning and a tad on the grumpy side but we talked to him again last night and he was feeling much better. He's doing extremely well and we are very thankful to God. We believe it is the prayers of so many that has made this terrible thing so much easier for him.

Well it was looking so so yesterday afternoon so I went ahead and ran up to Walmart to get a few things I needed to get. I did this after picking up our daughter. It was rainging but not bad.
We come out of Walmart with our umbrellas andI'm trying to push the cart and hold the umbrella with the wind. I get almost aross the driving area from Walmart to the parking area when my umbrella gets blown from the down position to the up position. I hope you know what I mean.
The plastic tips that go on to the wires all around the umbrella were effected by what happened too. About 4 areas of the umbrella came off those wires.
I'm trying to hold the cart and keep the wind from blowing it away from me and now I'm trying to keep the wind from taking my umbrella. My daughter was holding her umbrella and she looked at what I was going through and started laughing. All of a sudden her umbrella went from the down position to the up position.
This guy in a truck was driving by us and was laughing. I was a sight to see.
My husband said the sky looked Green.
We had lost power at least once more after that around midnight. Came back on within about 5 minutes that time though. Slept on the couch because husband was snoring.
I didn't sleep well last night so I'm dragging this morning.

& I can just picture you both with your busted umbrellas in that wind. We get severe winds here regularly - last time our winds hit 80mph & knocked down trees & took some of our shingles off (sent them to our nabors house) lol

Glad you're back - I had withdrawls when our fone system was out in our area last week.
All I could do was dream I was repping people. I don't mind a little wind but not the stuff we had yesterday. I don't think I could handle constant windy days especially 80mph. 
When I bought the house, we were going through a dry spell and the water in the yard after every rain storm was not disclosed to me.
