St. Maximus the Confessor was not only pre-Schism but also later glorified (canonized to you folks) a saint. Posthumously pardoned at the Ecumenical Council in Constantinople in 680. Pre-Schism and settled also pre-Schism.

Orthodox fasting is only as strict as you and your priest make it be. The vast majority of Orthodox don't take it very seriously.

To say that there is a 'lack of fasting' in Catholicism is absurd.

Launched a Crusade in the areas of present day Lithuania (called Northern Crusades) which killed not only pagans but also Orthodox Christians.
Proselytized in already Orthodox lands.

Hardly. The norm is thus: no meat, dairy, fish, wine or food oil on Wednesdays and Fridays throughout the year. Except during the weeks after Christmas and Pascha. That is also how we fast during the four fasting seasons. Now, if someone is medically unable to do so or if they are very young than that is different. That is the exception, not the norm.

There is a difference between "primacy" and "supremacy". Because of the past 1,000 years of Schism, y'all have seen our "primacy" views to equate "supremacy".

Actually, I'll thank you for leveling it which allowed the only Orthodox safe haven to be in Russia. Beautiful country. Wish I could go there someday.
