'FAMILY' banned from California Schools

This is so scary - it came up as the point of the sermon at Church today - "Mom", "Dad", and positive portrayals of family banned by new law in California (and effectivly in all public schools across the country because publishers will have to bend to this law).

This is what Democrats are doing and will do more of with new political clout. It's not about the war, healthcare, the economy, immigrants, or taxes - it's about the atheist/homosexual indoctrination - the very soul of the children of this country.

And no - I don't consider the CA govornor any more of a Republican than the mayor of New York... Or his Kennedy In-Laws.

This is very disappointing to hear. In contemporary society, the family is struggling to coexist with the state and as a result is being diminished. I think it would be a complete tragedy to see the role of family destroyed or usurped.

she's now excelling in her classes, and in an environment she's happier...she's not being told she can't say grace over her lunch, she's not being told she can't wear her favorite t-shirts, she's not being told she can't read her Bible during her "free time" and she's not getting off the bus every day in tears for being called names for loving Jesus...

Do I want a refund? NO!!!

I'm not stupid enough to think that a good education in an environment where she's encouraged to grow spiritually would be free...and never expect it to be so.

And before you go telling me that what she endured was against the law...what's it worth to have your child happy and content in life...a lawsuit? or just putting her where she can grow and be nurtured *before* being sent off to the spiritual war she's already tasted...

The whole idea behind vouchers is that - we pay once for our children's education in the form of property/sales tax... if the state will not provide an acceptable education for Christians, then they should provide education vouchers so that our children can attend the school of our choice and we are not required to pay twice for the priveledge.

oh...I get to claim her tuition and enrollment fees on my taxes...but out of hte 4300 a year we pay out, it adds about 300 to my refund heh
