So you are saying this is not open for discussion? You are not willing to answer the questions I have?Because there are wars that must be fought until Jesus returns.
If we dont skill 1000's of terrorists they will kill millions of innocents.
And if you think you can argue this fact your are silly.
In keeping with the thread of this OP, what you have just written also plays into why I'm not a Christian. There are a several reasons why:
1. For me, the ONLY Holy Book directly written by the hand of God can ONLY be found with in life itself. All other books have passed through the hand of man. As such the ONLY place where wisdom was directly handed down from God can ONLY be found with in life.
2. In my study of the source of the text that today we find in the Bible, we see that none of the authors ever saw Jesus or heard Him speak. What they wrote down was from what they heard in the oral stories that circulated. So we have no first hand accounts of Jesus. Nor do we have text that is "written word directly from the creator", as you say. Wisdom can be found in the Bible, yes. But as for Christianity and what I see, that wisdom seems to be rarely followed.

3. There are other early Christian text of those ancient times that point towards a different belief about Jesus than what we see in the text that were chosen for the Bible. As such, we can see that those first followers of Jesus did not have any single belief about Him.
Your statement speaks volumes about why Im not a Christian.

Hi. If JESUS was the Jew's Messiah as both Christian and Muslims believe, the only thing left is the second part of Isaiah 61:2 "Day of Vengeance".What biblical prophecies have been fulfilled?
There are hundreds of prophecies that have been fulfilled from different religions and cultures.
Again, the prophecies that have been fulfilled are Old Testament ones mostly, and even those "fulfillments" haven't been total or clear, or are hotly debated.
Christianity still has no more weight than its Islamic or Judaic counterparts.
I am not christian for many many many reasons. Some Christians seem to think that we non-Christians are inferior to them for having rejected Jesus. Really it doesn't make us weaker or dumber or lazier, just different - so let's clear up some misconceptions.
Why aren't YOU a Christian?
I am not christian for many many many reasons.
Firstly and chiefly amongst those reasons simply is I do not believe, based on prophecies in Torah, that Christ was the messiah. Amongst other things, lets pretend that Christ was the messiah, how can one call themselves a christian when their faith is so fractured. Islam and Judaism, we have it right. We have few "Sects". In Islam your are primarily either Sunni or Shia (I may be wrong on the spellings) and in Judaism there are three main groups. Orthodox, Conservative, and Reform. If Christianity every hopes to survive they will have to become united, but there is nothing in this world that would make me want to be a christian. That is why im not christian and IS why I am Jewish
I can understand that. ShalomI am not christian for many many many reasons.

Yes, that's a much more important question--why is a person what they are?
Question on your signature: How do you translate the first statement? Specifically, can "echad" be interpreted as "alone," rather than "one"? I ask, because I've seen it translated as "Hear, O Israel: The Lord your god, The Lord, is one."
And while that seems like the strictest, most accurate translation, it seems to make more sense, to me, as "....The Lord is your god, The Lord alone."
I've wanted to get the opinion of somebody whose Hebrew is better than mine for a while. And, really, I'm just assuming that your Hebrew is better than mine because you have a Hebrew sig. Let me know if I'm being presumptuous.
All that I know for sure is that Im aware of a presence of creating force with in life itself. And, that creative force, I see it's presence everywhere I look. I also know that Im aware of the power found with in compassionate love. I experience the truth and power of both of those things. To take this one step further, the point where the creative force with in life AND the power of Love and Compassion meet and become one, that is where I give my thanks and blessings to. At that point, everything is whole, united and One.Hmmm do you believe there is a creator of all that is??
Shema (Hear) Yisrael (Israel) Adonai (Lord) Eloheinu (God) Adonai (Lord) Echad (One or Alone)
So a rough translation would Yield: Hear Israel, Lord god Lord Alone. Echad can mean both One or Alone. It depends on where it appears, and really there is little difference between one and alone in this context.

Hi Carey. If JESUS did not fulfill every prophecy in the Bible, then He wasn't the Messiah.Hre are a few soursces for ya.
I did the leg work when I was in doubt.
If you really want to know

Besides, the Muslims believe the Jews lost out and Muhammad came to reveal YHWH to the World. Who knows, maybe they are right.![]()

Hello. We muslims believe he was sent to the sons of Israel not for all mankind. This doesnt mean the one who follows Him in real does a wrong job but this is God's plan for He sent Muhammed-aleyhissalam-to all mankind.Which proofs do christians have to claim that Jesus was sent to entire humanity and not only to the israelites?
If Muslims were right Israel would not exist. Now you know why they are trying so hard to amke it not exist to no avail since 1948,
The existence of Israel proves the Quran wrong.
