I think that Donkey Kong is the best game ever.

Other than that, the new Gundam games with the giant pods that you sit inside are pretty cool. They link up to other pods in the game centre, and even to other arcades. You can just be a spectator and watch the action on a screen outside the pods as well.

The Time Crisis series is also a fun light-gun game. They're up to 4 now. I also like arcade Mario Kart! The Namco one with Pac-man. The sequel is out here.

I'm always loyal to House of the Dead (the first one) and after that is Area 51. Site 4 is alright, but the original is better. And of course, DDR.

arcade games are great i love the gun games like virtual cop, house of the dead, area 51 games etc. Also the 2d fighters from capcom and snk. The metal slug series is a classic im happy that they made a metal slug anthology i want to get that

A local arcade offered a 4 hour unlimited play session on Saturdays when I was a kid. Me and 3 of my buddies would spend the entire time every weekend playing through Gauntlet.

Now I have to play it, 1 was pretty cool and unique for it's time. I don't know FlaymSior I kinda liked 3 (must have been the shotgun?) but it got old fast 2 had a lot more variety, so I played it alot I must play 4 soon.

I wasn't that impressed with Time Crisis 4... seemed kinda lame? But it's okay I guess.
