If you can not tell the difference between plastic knives/aspirins and warlocks/spells I can not help you see the issue. Reread the CS Lewis quote. It is very insightful.

I do not believe it is my discernment which is in question here, but yours. You seem to have missed the point of the analogy so let me clarify: dangerous weapons DO exist -- but plastic knives do not qualify. Controlled substances DO exist -- but aspirins do not qualify. Do the math.

An incantation is simply a piece of prose or poetry meant to be spoken in order to address a spiritual entity or enact a piece of magick.

In my opinion, evil is a virus created by the value-judgment assignment of it to places where it does not exist. And in my opinion, a sonnet to Satan can be just as beautiful as an imprecation to God. Sometimes even moreso, with all the tragic implications and courageous ramifications which forbidden love entails.

So a christian does something like an incantation when they recite a formula prayer hoping for magical results or if cited just right God (god) will hear them but if said wrong, they didn't have enough faith. Like a prayer for healing or prosperity, quote 5 verses 5 times a day because they think that the laws of prosperity, God has to answer because they are little gods. But how about the christian practice of cutting to atone for your sins when grace isn't enough? Some say christians can be demon possesed I guess if there are christian satanic worshippers anything is possible. Most of the child molesters that abused me were christians (one was a preacher). And family members are christian drug dealers at times.
