Imagining offense is offered where none has been is a very typical human error though. And it is not fair to force another to bear the weight of what one chooses to eisegete in the face of all clarification to the contrary.

I believe it can be a valid conversation in debate or ncr but outside of areas like that not sure it would be. I agree that sometimes we read to much into something but obviousl;y there is a place for ncr just as there is a place for me to express what I believe specifically that might not be appreciated in another forum. Like it or not this is a Christian board at least for now. It is operating on Christian principles so therefore there are only so many places that it is appropriate to get into conversation of this sort. Actually I would enjoy talking with him in the debate area or ncr but doubt it would be appropriate here.

I'd like to address this last question, since I am getting a lot of PMs that seem to think I have managed to get where I was while somehow avoiding Christian beliefs:

I was raised a combination of Catholic (grandparents) and a combination of Feri Tradition and Strega (mother and her group), which are both forms of witchcraft. My grandmother thought I was going to be a priest (I like to think I am, though it may be a conceit...I am licensed).

In addition to this, I was an Orthodox Christian for about half a year, did a catechumenate and chrismation. I was a reader at my church and my spiritual father, Fr. Timothy, was putting things in motion for me to go to seminary. Needless to say, this didn't work out.

So the answer is yes, I have.

Saw them in concert once. Musicianship was great; performance sucked. First time i ever ran into a band that did NOT want to "connect" during performance. it was jarring. I'm a connecting type with music.
Stopped listening to them after that.
Danzig was better.

I used to dig Type O a lot, but their music is very, very griiiiiiiiiinding. Got old. Plus the melodrama..."Everyone I love is....dead!"...just gets silly.

I still listen to Danzig, though.

Lately I have been listening to these gregorian chant versions of songs like Engel by Rammstein. Found a FMV of the Hellraiser series with the chant version of Engel on youtube and had to track down the rest. Good stuff.
