Well... Mods are also humans like all of us... I agree that modding is not always immaculate and I know that often mods opinions/political views would interfere.... this is not the question. I belive the forums should stay Christian.... whatever mutitude dominations it would embrace!

I am talking about the fact when it came to Warnings/Bannings/Abusing certain groups it was a particular brand of "Christians" who were doing it.

I know. But this was only a group. A "hostile takeover", you might call it. But even that was in the name (and in some good traditions) of Christianity.

You made a statement which could be interpreted as affirming a heresy. Now, I know you well enough that it was nothing more than poor word choice in the context of a discussion of how to run a message board. But, in the past, Staff has taken it upon itself to "investigate" such things and make judgments about such things and even decide who was and was not apostate. Ol' Rising_Suns was appointed by Staff to make such an inquiry to me, but I know all them big edumacated words, so it was no problem deflecting it. Other members of this site have not been so lucky.

The orthodoxy police was bad and evil and should not be revived. I fear that many posting in this thread want to bring it back in all its evil.

I will not vote for either option because certain people (in this thread and a certain person who started the poll) couldn't even give the "New CF" a chance to work. The new rules aren't even written yet. Neither option is fair, and honestly this just sounds like a certain person's obsession with having their way with the site and the rules.

Its just sad that there are people that I respected on this site have shown that they do not deserve it as they are simply pouncing on a chance when things are mixed up to try to make CF their vision and not give Erwin's a chance. It reminds me of a pack of dogs picking on a wounded animal. Does that make you people happy to be compared like that?

If so start your own forum or at least give this new vision a chance.

Have I asked you yet for some examples of unacceptable decisions made by the current non-Christian mods? There are so many people complaining without actually providing any substantial objection that I'm beginning to lose track.

Oh, you are very right. I have run into that group a time or two. No compromise, and I am not talking of compromising the gospel, okay? I am talking about giving them exactly what they wanted but not worded exactly the way they wanted, so it was still not agreeable to them.

If you're suggesting they had been clients of her's then it's not the same one you're talking about. Look to John 8:1-11. In the KJV it claims her crime was adultery, not prostitution and the object of her adultery was a tradesman from Egypt.

Huh? Where is that tought in the Bible? Surely not in the Pauline Epistles, or the gospels, where Christ routinely condemns people for not believing in Him.

When you think about it, isn't the primary Christian belief all about God showing tolerance to mankind?

If man is guilty of sin and the wages of sin are death and God has allowed that man escape that consequence, isn't that tolerance?

It's so sad to be persecuted by people who proclaim a given belief but then don't even seem to understand the foundation of the belief they claim.

You were right, I was mistaken about her crime being prostitution; but the point still stands the same.

Actually, the primary foundation of Christianity is faith in the deliverance of God, which was manifest in Christ's death and resurrection. It has nothing to do with human politics. Tolerance has nothing to do with it; and i still have to assert that it's impossible to be persecuted within an internet Ministry. I would say the same exact thing even if I were ridiculed and mocked on an atheist website, which I have been in the past. That's not persecution.
