Well... Mods are also humans like all of us... I agree that modding is not always immaculate and I know that often mods opinions/political views would interfere.... this is not the question. I belive the forums should stay Christian.... whatever mutitude dominations it would embrace!
Are you saying that wasn't specifically to make a point to Abraham? Was God really asking Abraham for his opinion to weigh His options?Yes. Abraham wrangled with God. Nineveh was spared.
Do people even read the Bible anymore?
*sigh*
I know. But this was only a group. A "hostile takeover", you might call it. But even that was in the name (and in some good traditions) of Christianity.I am talking about the fact when it came to Warnings/Bannings/Abusing certain groups it was a particular brand of "Christians" who were doing it.
What in the heck is that because now you have me baffled and yes you know I read the dang BIBLE why are you asking me of all people that question

I also don't' like the idea of non-Christians being allowed to be on staff.
I will not vote for either option because certain people (in this thread and a certain person who started the poll) couldn't even give the "New CF" a chance to work. The new rules aren't even written yet. Neither option is fair, and honestly this just sounds like a certain person's obsession with having their way with the site and the rules.
Its just sad that there are people that I respected on this site have shown that they do not deserve it as they are simply pouncing on a chance when things are mixed up to try to make CF their vision and not give Erwin's a chance. It reminds me of a pack of dogs picking on a wounded animal. Does that make you people happy to be compared like that?
If so start your own forum or at least give this new vision a chance.
If you're suggesting they had been clients of her's then it's not the same one you're talking about. Look to John 8:1-11. In the KJV it claims her crime was adultery, not prostitution and the object of her adultery was a tradesman from Egypt. That's the same one I'm talking about! Wow! I mean, the "Cast the first stone" thing, being a chastisement to their own involvement with the very same prostitute brought before Christ and all. How else would they have "caught" her?
Read on; try John 8:15Huh? Where is that tought in the Bible? Surely not in the Pauline Epistles, or the gospels, where Christ routinely condemns people for not believing in Him.
It has nothing to do with secularized politicking so providing examples as such would have no bearing on the discussion.Have I asked you yet for some examples of unacceptable decisions made by the current non-Christian mods? There are so many people complaining without actually providing any substantial objection that I'm beginning to lose track.
You are so transparent.I don't know what it means. And neither do you.
But we are drifting into theology here, which is kind of off-topic.
Under the old system Christians (those claiming to be Christian), were in total control.
Yeah, why dont you go ahead and do that? The audacity of an atheist wanting to define our Christian values.Perhaps what needs to happen is that we need to redefine Christian values.
Could it be because it is "Christian Forums"? Why havent you started an "Atheist Forum"?

Sir, you work for the competition. If Pepsis CEO went to Cokes CEO and gave him advice on how to improve their product - you really think Coke would follow his advice? (Hint: Pepsi wouldnt really be interested in improving Coke's product.)
Uh, I'm sorry, you must be reading a different bible than me.If you're suggesting they had been clients of her's then it's not the same one you're talking about. Look to John 8:1-11. Matthew 12:1-13
You were right, I was mistaken about her crime being prostitution; but the point still stands the same.1 But Jesus went to the Mount of Olives.
2 Now early in the morning He came again into the temple, and all the people came to Him; and He sat down and taught them. 3 Then the scribes and Pharisees brought to Him a woman caught in adultery. And when they had set her in the midst, 4 they said to Him, “Teacher, this woman was caught in adultery, in the very act. 5 Now Moses, in the law, commanded us that such should be stoned. But what do You say?” 6 This they said, testing Him, that they might have something of which to accuse Him. But Jesus stooped down and wrote on the ground with His finger, as though He did not hear.
(John 8)
Actually, the primary foundation of Christianity is faith in the deliverance of God, which was manifest in Christ's death and resurrection. It has nothing to do with human politics. Tolerance has nothing to do with it; and i still have to assert that it's impossible to be persecuted within an internet Ministry. I would say the same exact thing even if I were ridiculed and mocked on an atheist website, which I have been in the past. That's not persecution. When you think about it, isn't the primary Christian belief all about God showing tolerance to mankind?
If man is guilty of sin and the wages of sin are death and God has allowed that man escape that consequence, isn't that tolerance?
It's so sad to be persecuted by people who proclaim a given belief but then don't even seem to understand the foundation of the belief they claim.
