We do. Scripture.I'm sick of them, how about you post what YOU believe, rather than what we DO NOT believe.
We do. Scripture.![]()
My sister woke up in the middle of the night having a severe asthma attack. Because she use to be a meth addict, she can no longer take asthma/allergy medicatioins. She had no other option but to hit her knees in prayer. She prayed strait to God. Guess what? She was healed and no longer suffers from asthma.
And this is your opinion?
There is no way that you can interpret 1 Timothy 2:5 any other way. You don't like it because it contradicts THE church false teaching.
We are not mediators to God. We can have several people pray for one person but it is praying directly to God. Big difference.
We don't mediate to God the Father, only Jesus the Son mediates to God*. We can mediate to Christ though, I don't see this being forbidden in Scripture, yet I do see people interceding to Christ for other's...
*And this mediation has even been missinterpreting by Protestants...
No, a girl in our OCF told us the story. I should look into it though.
The ones you shared were pretty awesome
Perhaps that is because RC & EO rarely make deliberate false statements about what others believe.

I have, and its exasperating. If you all would just stop doing it and have a real discussion it would be great.Amazing that the strawman claim is always directed at other than RCC or EO.Have you noticed this pattern.

I second that motion. There was two parts to that request.
Quit presenting things we don't believe as though we do, and I can guarantee that you will not be called on Strawman fallacies.
You Don't go to the Father in prayer? Jesus taught us to pray to Him. Wow I love to go to my Father and pray for my brothers and sisters. I love to Go to my Father and talk to Him about His word..We don't mediate to God the Father, only Jesus the Son mediates to God*. Yes, other people can pray to God for you in the name of Christ![]()

Sure, but I was speaking of mediation, and how people say only Jesus and no other can mediate to God, which is what I said..I also said that people can mediate to Christ....but the mediation Jesus reffered to, was not the same mediation that other's speak of..
He is our Mediator in Heaven.Sure, but I was speaking of mediation, and how people say only Jesus and no other can mediate to God, which is what I said..I also said that people can mediate to Christ....but the mediation Jesus reffered to, was not the same mediation that other's speak of..The only one spoken of there. He is our intercessor in Heaven. the only one spoken of there. We as His people here on earth can go to the Father because of Him and pray for our brothers and sisters or situations down here.
Revelations speaks on several occations of the saints in heaven offering our prayers to the Father. He is our Mediator in Heaven. The only one spoken of there. He is our intercessor in Heaven. the only one spoken of there. We as His people here on earth can go to the Father because of Him and pray for our brothers and sisters or situations down here.
Then wouldn't that make them a mediator?
You're right, it makes them an intercessor.
These prayers are in bowls. They are offered as an incense offering not as prayer. We do not see them bringing prayer requests to the Father in petition but as a sweet aroma to My Father. This tells me that the prayers of my brothers and sisters and myself are stored in Jars to be offered as a sweet aroma to my Father. He keeps these prayers for this offering because they are that special to Him.Revelations speaks on several occations of the saints in heaven offering our prayers to the Father.
