Making the sign of the cross, what is often called genuflecting, is probably the most common Christian hand gesture. It is a reminder of our baptism "in the Name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit." Protestants have only recently rediscovered it as a means of centering during worship and prayer.

i only kno the methodist 'methodist rocking out wesley style' by crossing the middle and ring fingers, hiding the thumb, and pointing downward, then pointing them upward (like and M then a W)

my Naz friends pound fists, called Biscuits, or do the 'exploded potato'....
