As I said to Davedjy - if you look for legalism, you'll see it there. I don't promote legalism, though. God is saying to do that which is pleasing to Him - remember, the Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath. Are we not under a covenant to God?

What's being presented in that specific text is a promise to the followers of God, that is, those who are faithful to Him. That's essentially what I take the covenant to be here.

Hermaphrodites are still perfect creations. There are human. It's a lot like saying someone with diabetese is less of a perfect creation of God. So in affect it does talk about them in the bible. (it's not like either parts work so hermaphrodites are women. that is the sex that our body naturaly goes to.)

That is because that was God's marriage...Adam and Eve. I told you, I don't argue "God's original intent", but that lots of changes happened when sin came into the world such as sin defect, not just sin temptation. I think we forget that as Christians. Show me where it talks about healings of all retarded children, or examples of some hermaphrodites? God didn't "intend" but nonetheless, it still happened.

So if through this sin that came into the world, you prefer sex with men, that means it okay. Then if I, for since this sin came into the world, prefer sex with goats, then that should be okay for me too. It wasnt God's original intent, but since I have that desire because of sin that came into the world, I can enjoy all the goats I want. Whoops, I guess I better marry one first.

Why do we see a large amount of denominations/sects/religious institutions accepting homosexuality and even approving of it? We see priests, pastors, and even bishops openly proclaiming their homosexuality.

Homosexual acts are sinful.

Now, I'm all for allowing homosexuals to attend church and worship, I don't hate them or reject them (We should love everyone). They are sinners just like you and I. What I'm against is the accepting of their acts as something normal or God pleasing.

First off, anatomically speaking, two males (two females) are not made to fit each other. It is obvious that it is a male and a female that are meant for each other. Even the after product of a males sexual experience (sperm) is meant only for the female's egg, the is no other true purpose.

This alone should prove that a homosexual union is un-natural.

Second, Biblically speaking, God made a parnter/helper for Adam...His choice was a female, in the early chapters of Genesis we see the first marriage union of a "man and his wife".

Notice the word "wife"? This is strickly used to repersent a female. Many times in scripture we only see that it is a man and his wife that make up "one flesh".

This means two males (two females) can not become "one flesh" (only a man and his wife). If two males can not become one flesh, how is it that they could ever have sexual relations that are not sinful? Only a couple who is married can have sexual relations.

This means homosexuals who engage in sexual acts are living in SIN.

One last thing, I dislike when homosexuals say that God made them that way. That's like me saying God made me with my sin nature so I should go out and sin.

It is not the temptation or desire that makes homosexuality a sin (Jesus was tempted), it is the giving into and acting out on that desire or temptation that is sin. So regardless if you have homosexual feelings, it is something that doesn't have to lead to sin.

1 Cor. 10:13
No temptation has overtaken you but such as is common to man; and God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will provide the way of escape also, so that you will be able to endure it.

We all have temptations, some people have a problem with lying or stealing, homosexuals have a problem with un-natural lusting of the same sex.

So when you see verses like:

It is talking about acting homosexuals, not those with just homosexual desire.

You are very correct. According to the bible a homosexual is not a saved Christian. They can become saved if they repent, but a person who is a practicing homnosexual is not a Chrstian according to scripture. You gave one proof verse in 1 Corinthins 6.

The reason that we are seeing the change today from accepting the bible to accepting sinners as saved is that the church age is just about over and the end times is about full blown. The writer is clearly deceived in their attempt to change the word of God. The bible is clear in both the Old and new testament that homosexuality is a sin and those who are into it are lost.

Yes I read it and I also have ead thhe bible and I know the truth. I am not sure what you mean by "strict Chrisitan", but the person who wrote this was not conveying the word of God and His truth. My prayers are that you or anyone who has been deceived into thinking that salvation can be received without repentance from this sin or any sin would be enlightened to the truth and come to the Master in true repentance for salvation.

Exodus international is a con-site. The creators are reported as being hypocritical. I also doubt you really read it in depth. The essay is long. I took an hour reading it detail by detail. Not skimming. And the "word of God" is written by men. Men make mistakes. The only way you know the truth is through God personally.

Exactly. Inspired. God did not write it. Even assuming the original was written entirely by God's instruction, the translations were not inspired. It would only be typical for them to be incorrect.

THis is rediculouse. The words are Gods directly through his mouth pieces. It is the most well translated and recorded book in history!!
