CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Lord, thank you for WHO you are, that you are a gracious and loving God who forgives and loves us! Lord, I pray that you teach us how to love. I pray that you draw us each nearer to your heart, and to your will and purpose for each of our lives. I pray your hand on us all, that you would protect us from the evil ones plan for us. I rebuke him in the name of Jesus..and I pray that you Lord fill each of us with love, peace and a joy we have never known! Amen!

I understand what your feeling tho and I'm truly grateful God put u in my life right when he did b/c I know u understand me and try your best to give me what I so desperately need.. but in turn I wanna be that same blessing to you!! Gabby sits in front of the cross and closes her eyes.... she can smell the fireplace she lit...hear the crackling of the wood.... feel the warm glow of the fire feel the warmth of God by her side...she thinks of all of the things in her life that have caused her pain and realizes that they were all part of His perfect plan.
She feels the need to expound upon the Judas Iscariot idea....did Jesus forgive Him....I think so ....but how could He not it was part of God's plan..He was necessary in the scheme of things to betray Jesus and and sell him out so He could die for our sins and we could be saved.
I see life like that now she thinks...people do things but I see that you have to forgive them because God intended it that way sometimes...to teach you, to move you, to pull you out of a situation. The past three months she thinks have been like a lifetime...so much pain so much growth...and the valley becomes the mountain top.

Thanks, I'm trying.. have a long way to go though.. so not sure if thats good or bad but I do know that I'll need support as I take this journey of healing bc I know it will be very hard and hard work. *sigh*

gabbers guess what? I was just in NYC for Christmas and I totally fell in love w/ it.. hehe.. we were in Manhatten.. it was so livly and so much fun but insanely crowded which made me mad LOL plus I had never walked so much in my life and saw so many homeless.. it really tugged at my heart
