I have to admit my concern with the reference of demons in the game including the "devils sign" used an icon for shadow priests ability of vampiric aura. I obviously dont speak for God but part me of feels the following 2 questions get to the bottom of the issue.

1. Are you using the game for satanic purposes or is it making you do things to intentionaly hurt God?

2. Is blizzards intent for the game to be satanic?
The answer to this is obviously no Blizzard would not make a satanic game if not just for moral reasons but because this would be very poor marketing as most of the world is Christian. Even though it does refer to some real things that are evil they are used in a purely fictional sense that is not intended to bring the game to satan and away from God. Fore instance murder is truley wrong but that is not even a mentioned issue in this thread that murder is commited by each player almost once every 60 seconds or less. This is just fiction and no one is being hurt. Just as the references arefor a dramatic fictional story and no where in the game is satan actually referenced.


Again i can not speak for God but i somehow feel these answers can my decision to keep playing.

You're thinking of Vampiric Embrace, not Vampiric Aura. Vampiric Aura's symbol is a bloody fang.

And it's just a game, man. I throw up the horns every now and then when playing Guitar Hero. It doesn't mean anything unless you want it to mean something.

IT is true it is vampiric embrace and that the symbol has grown to not really reflect satan when used in most places but it is obviously ment to reference something dark in this case since it is SHADOW MAGIC.

There's two sides to this, one is wher you read too much into things and they affect you somehow, wether good or bad, and the other is people who just pllay the game to blow off some steam after school for a half hour.



I personally think that the snake could be like a warning, or guardian, like the stone statues with red eyes. Like gargoyles, or something, scare away evil, or maybe, and this would be relevant, that everything you do has a consequence and you should make sure you do the right thing.

My thoughts.

Ignorant, New Testament only, Hippy Christianity is plaguing the world. It's because of those types that really ruin Christianity. Ignorance Christians are dangerous to everyone...especially us as Christians.

The only reason I haven't is because I haven't found the pocket version of the old testement yet, just the new. I also am not radical, I think. I find it strange that a little symbol from a spell disturbs the OP. Yet racking up a body count that even Hitler would envy on the way to level 60 does nothing. Or that the end game involves either killing your fellow players, or killing npcs so you can take their shiney purple stuff.
