I have heard that his wife is Orthodox. I am not sure if Troy himself is Orthodox, although I have been told he is a very good Christian man and model citizen.Hey Michael - are you there?
It was a bummer not having the Stillers playing today. I have a question for you...
Last week, the kids told me that they saw Polamalu get up after a play and cross himself the right way (Orthodox). I'm not sure they saw it right.
He's not Orthodox, is he?
George
It is good to see you are getting back to your usual ways!Good morning to those doing nightshifts whose dog have virility problems and cry, to those who have a stormtrooper friend, a kid that can ride a bike, a skeptic husband, medical appointments and are about to be chrismated, to geeks who spend saturday mornings being hungry and sleepy in a library, to those who just attended their first DL and feel good, to girls who skip church to go to the beach, to those who are covering their bathroom walls with tiles and whose children can cook sausages, and needless to say, to other friends.
Morning, and thank you to all the Jewish people. If it weren't for them I wouldn't have a day off today on their day of Atonement

My kids are off today, too. We have all the big Jewish holidays off.
same here, and half the kids would be out, too. It was the same when I was growing up here. We had all the high holy days off. The streets are all blocked off in front of the temples and they all advertise advance tickets for the best temples.

In the Helsinki Cathedral you're supposed to pick up a ticket to get to Pascha. They are free and I haven't heard they would have ever run out. But I think it's more for keeping with fire regulations and occupancy rules etc.
In other news... I have severe sciatica and it's not getting any better. It normally goes away after 2-3 days but now it's on the third day and it's not getting any better. Even coughing hurts. I have some prescription painkillers from prior incidents but they don't work for squat. Doesn't matter what I do, walk, sit, lay down, it still hurts. But my great electricians are here today and they got me lunch when they went out and bring me stuff if I need it. I can limp around but I guess they feel bad. Great guys!

Jenn, I am hanging in there. I am about to leave for work. Did you see my salsa thread? Any recommendations? I have a TON of hot peppers here. If you wanted some and I knew a safe way to ship them to MD I would send some to you.Hi guys! Feeling a bit better, only two episodes of 24 left on the season I'm watching...Still a pain in the butt so to say...
Well, I'm heading to bed! Electricians come back tomorrow and I also get my new stove. YAY!!!
Michael, I'll answer your PM tomorrow. Gotta ponder a bit. Hang in there!![]()

Should I be concerned by the helicopters with spotlights circling my neighborhood?
