Well as a teacher I can only provide the infromation, I can not make people think or realize the truth.

I am sorry that you view this infromation the way you do, but it is as always your choice to reject any and all knowledge provided.

Someone missed out the l in consistently. Although i do think that one or two spelling errors is a petty reason to disregard all the insight someone may have to offer you.

A typo is quite a different thing than a repeated misspelling. Besides, I'm not claiming to be a teacher. Still, thanks for pointing that out!

As I mentioned, there was no insight; all that was offered was condescension, a patronizing tone, and incorrect information based on semantic slight-of-hand. My pettiness, if you must call it that, is in response to his attitude, not his words.

Well, when some one has to pick on spelling errors, that is normally the sign they have nothing left. It is even by message boards standards the bottom of the barrel, so in a way I am glad that you have done so, it is a finality, in an of itself.

I however, am a little disenchanted that you have chosen to go this path.

When did I come off as a Condescending? I accepted that you wished to reject what I offered you, and I only expressed my feelings of remorse that you have chosen to accept a false idea as opposed to embracing the truth.

However, if my information was indeed incorrect, I would more then welcome you to correct me, and explain where I was misinforming you.

Apparently you have issues with the idea that Agnostic and Atheist views can be held simultaneously, where I had explained that they can not. Each is in itself a different and complete view.

The definitions that you yourself provided do not prevent one from holding both atheistic and agnostic beliefs:

Atheist:
1: the doctrine or belief that there is no God.
2: The doctrine that there is no God or gods
3: Disbelief in or denial of the existence of God or gods

Agnostic.
1: an intellectual doctrine or attitude affirming the uncertainty of all claims to ultimate knowledge.
2: The belief that there can be no proof either that God exists or that God does not exist.

There is absolutely nothing preventing me from being both a type-3 atheist and a type-2 agnostic. I disbelieve in God's existence while admitting that there is no absolute proof either way.

Also, your attempt to split atheism into strong vs. weak is misguided; they are not two separate and distinct options. They are merely points along a continuum. Someone who is 51% sure that God does not exist is at one end of the spectrum, and someone who is 99% sure that God does not exist is at the other end, but they are both atheists. Strong and weak are relative tems, not separate definitions of atheism.
