Many times we can suffer from what is called karmic identity emotional somatization

It is an old emotional wound that is revived by words that others tell us directly or mentally. The issue is to find a way to heal that wound creatively with words and thus adapt.

That is to say, it is necessary to put words where before there was only pain and silence.

When there is fear of God in our souls, we see every person we meet as God's most beloved son or daughter.

I had a thought earlier today of following the spirit of the law and not the letter. To be honest I do struggle with just following the letter of the law and being unhappy and anxious because of what it causes me to do in life in regards to how to live it. I don't know if it's a good idea but at the same time i know following the letter of the law is not a good idea. So I'm curious how exactly do i follow the spirit of the law over the letter and is it biblical to do so? Thanks.

Many are not aware of it, but Pope Leo XIV as a cardinal was at odds with Pope Francis. There were tensions, which obviously stemmed from a sharp difference in attitude toward the Church and world. Cardinal Prevost was anti-communist, anti-LGBT, and against the idea of being absorbed with the world, while Francis constantly surrounded himself with communists and homosexuals and was one with the world. Leo XIV says that our "common home" is heaven while Francis said our "common home" is earth.



That Pope Leo has a mind to expose the evils of Communism is evident by his own words.

They came to the U.S. after President Donald Trump signed an executive order in February designating them as in need of asylum.

The parents of a Texas high school football player who was murdered at a track meet last month are pleading with school officials to reconsider their decision to allow their son’s alleged killer to graduate with his class.

Karmelo Anthony, of Frisco, is charged with murder in connection with the stabbing death of Austin Metcalf during an April 2 track meet at Frisco Memorial High School. Days after the stabbing, Anthony was released from jail after a Collin County judge lowered his bond from $1 million to $250,000. Anthony is currently under house arrest.

On Wednesday, Dallas-based advocacy group Next Generation Action Network (NGAN) announced that while Anthony will not participate in graduation activities at Centennial High School, he “will graduate and receive his high school diploma.”

Some Christians don't get involved in politics and leave the material world concerns to others.
But then on the other side there are those who let their religion inform and guide their political choices.
Then again, there are those who really take advantage of people's religious beliefs to bolster their own power... generating lots of religious sounding language, but for their own purposes.

From what I've read of the gospels, that seems more in line with what Jesus was saying.

Then I started thinking; what if it’s not a participation trophy that Danial talks of; however, more like a key that is personally given to single men by Christ himself, to a higher plain to be exact? One that no man who owns a child could ever understand by himself. Maybe I do need to be a bit more of a forgiving person and give my doubts to God and let Him be the one to decide what is better for me. What if whatever I get awarded by the Lord will be better because I will Transend those who have rumored me as a fool. Maybe just because I thought this thought it may be a sign of the time. It is seeming to become that way...

U.S. Vice President JD Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio, both of whom are Catholic, will attend the inaugural Mass for Pope Leo XIV, the first U.S.-born pope, on Saturday, May 18.

The Mass is scheduled for 10 a.m. Rome time and will be celebrated in St. Peter’s Square to mark the beginning of Leo’s pontificate.

Vance, a convert to the faith, congratulated the Holy Father on his elevation to the papacy in a post on X following the new pope’s election, saying “millions of American Catholics and other Christians will pray for his successful work leading the Church.”

Shortly after his papacy was announced, prior posts on X from Leo that criticized Trump and Vance over the administration’s deportation and migration policies resurfaced on an account that has since been deleted.
