Why The World Does Not Understand Us and Why Some Unbelievers Hate Us: Enjoy, my Family! Blessings! ^-^ Read if you are willing. Why does the world think us foolish? Well, there are two different wisdoms in this world that battle against each other: human wisdom and God’s wisdom. The world goes by human wisdom; they reason with human wisdom, they judge by human wisdom. Human wisdom is produced not by the Spirit, but by the Flesh. One who is filled with human wisdom cannot comprehend the wisdom of God. Why? The Spirit produces and is the wisdom of God. People who think by human wisdom do not have the Spirit; therefore, they cannot understand it and just think God’s wisdom is foolish. Anything they cannot understand is foolish because it is unknown to them. Now, there is still hope for them to understand, but the only way they can understand is by receiving the Spirit through baptism, accepting Jesus Christ as Savior, and reading the Word. In Sum: the world thinks us foolish because they cannot comprehend God’s wisdom without the Spirit and that they judge only by human wisdom. ^-^ P.S. For a clearer explanation, Paul speaks about this in 1 Corinthians 1: 18-31 and continues in 1 Corinthians 2: 1-15. (My version is NCV, because my NIV tore apart. I will be getting a new NIV soon. ) Why do people insult us and hate us? Jealously is the key word in most parts, some it is defense mechanisms against the fear/guilt they do not want to feel. We are separate, foreign, alien, and not part of this world. We belong to Heaven, to Jesus Christ, the Prince of the Heavens. Heaven is our true and real home. They hate that we are special, royal blood through Christ (even though they can be special too if they accept Christ and repent of their sins) and that we belong to God. They do not feel separation because they belong to the world, Satan, who is the prince of the world. For there are, truly, children of the devil unfortunately as there are children of God. Jesus speaks of such things in John 8: 42-47. Children of darkness hate the Light, because they do not want their sinful things expose in the Light and because they want to continue in pleasure and sin, as Jesus speaks of this in John 3: 19-21. So, it is no surprise that they hate us because we speak the Truth and are of the Light. It is also no surprise that they hate us and insult us because those who did not believe did the same things to Jesus (such as in all on-His-way-to -the -cross –passages (found in the Gospels) between being arrested, being questioned in front of many authorities even the priests, carrying the cross, being crucified….even before, He went through it, when He was preaching…He was insulted, debated with, try to be tricked/trapped, questioned, judged by human wisdom, etc.). No servant is greater than the master so it is no surprise that they do these things to us because they did it to Him; we are no greater than Jesus, they will do such things to us. But take heart! Jesus Christ will protect you from all harm! He will not let the Evil One give you suffering that you cannot bear. Jesus Christ is your protection, shield and sword, comforter, and Savior. Take heart! He is with you always, even if you do not feel it or on a last thread of hope! Take heart, my Family in Christ! He will answer and protect you! Take heart and keep pressing on with your faith, my Family! ^-^ P.S. Jesus talks and warns us about why people will hate us in John 15: 18-27 and continues in John 16: 1-4. Being a servant of God is not easy, that is why most people choose not to follow Christ because giving into sin is easier, because they want life the easy way, to be lazy, to not feel guilty, because they want to belong and be loved by the world. Trust me and the Lord, their pleasure only gives temporary fake fulfillment, never the full and everlasting true fulfillment that God gives. Plus, their life here on earth will end more quickly than they think (life goes by fast) and unfortunately, if they do not accept Christ as their one and only Savior by the time they die…they will go to Hell unfortunately. That is why planting seeds and giving water to them is very very important! Keep saving people, pressing on with your faith, soldiers of Christ, Great Commissioners! You are making a difference, even in the little things like love, forgiveness, and praying for people! Save those who you love and hate! For we and Him longs to gather His Chicks under His Wings. For He loves all! “Many times I wanted to gather your people as a hen gathers chicks under her wings, but you did not let me. Now your house will be completely empty.” ~Matthew 23: 37-28~ “Evil people run even though no one is chasing them, but good people are as brave as a lion.” ~Proverbs 28: 1~ P.S. They wanted darkness, because they were doing evil things. All who do evil hate the light and will not come to the light, because it will show all the evil things they do.
