The Devil throws his chain
Around the neck of woman
He chokes her
Pulling, tearing, burning
Mad at the light
She thought she could do it
On her own, by her control
But what a mistake
She hated the pain, the lost hope
She wanted to be happy
So, she became angry
Fighting and rebelling
So, she began to walk in her own ways
And that was when the chain was locked
Around her neck
Pulling, tearing, choking
No matter, deeper and deeper she goes
The chain grows tighter
Engraving in her flesh
Her tears bleed
She falls to the ground
She remembers the light
First, she fights in anger
But then cries in sorrow
Seeing a light shine in the distance,
She gets up weakly
She wanted the light back
She missed it badly
But the Devil pulls harder
With a smirk and grin
Choking her
Killing her
So, she runs
But the Devil pulls ever more
Cutting her flesh
Blood sprinkling, dripping
She falls harshly to her knees
She begins to be dragged away
She calls again, clawing at the ground
Crying, repenting, lamenting
The ground begins to shake
The Devil tries to pull but falls into flames
The silver, black chain falls
Blood covers her, flowing and dripping
A white-caped hand
Lifts the black chain from her neck
And throws it into the fire
He lifts her head gently
But she quickly looks down
Ashamed, afraid, lying on the floor
Asking for forgiveness
Her tears in blood and discord
His Hand lightly touches her head
Streams of water pours
The blood is washed away
The flames enclosed, back into the ground
His Arms lightly goes around her
And she cries even more
Trying to pull from His Grasp
He speaks to her
“Do not be afraid and be still.
Let My Love come into your heart.
Do not be afraid, you are forgiven in my blood.
I am filled with compassion, come back to me.”
Shaking, she slowly looks up
His Hand lightly brushes her tears away
She falls into His Arms
Desperately clinging to Him
Oh, how she longed for this life again
Oh, what peace and love filled her veins
She felt the poison of the chain leave
As waters continue to pour from His Hand
She felt the blue waters flow
Flow so gently over her skin
Cleaning her from the poison
Removing her pain
She began to close her eyes
Resting in calm
His Hands stroked her hair
Gently, comforting her
Oh, what peace
What love
Oh, how she missed this
This forever, undying love
To you, His Words
His Hands Open
“Come back to me.”
Come back to me…
