  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Unity And Maturity In The Body of Christ

The Goal: Our Calling In Christ

1 As a prisoner for the LORD, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. —Ephesians 4:1 (KJV)

The Means:
Our Life In The Spirit

2 Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. 3 Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. —Ephesians 4:2-3 (KJV)

The Reason:
Our Oneness In God

4 There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called; 5 one LORD, one faith, one baptism; 6 one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all. —Ephesians 4:4-6 (KJV)
