Get Ready For The End Of All Things

The Bible says Christ will come like a thief in the night, when we least expect him. It will happen in the twinkling of an eye, with the sound of a trumpet. We must be ready at all times.​

3 Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, 4 And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation. —2 Peter 3:3-4 (KJV)​

45 Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season? 46 Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing. 47 Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods. 48 But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming; 49 And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken; 50 The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of, 51 And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. —Matthew 24:45-51 (KJV)​

40 Be ye therefore ready also: for the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not.—Luke 12:40 (KJV)​

Satan would have believers see no need to watch for Christ's coming, nor any reason to make peace with fellow believers. Satan would have us believe there is no need for unity among believers at church, home, or in the workplace, and no need to make right the things with our fellow Christians. Satan would have us smite our brethren, hold grudges, and destroy others—besmirch their reputations.

Satan would have us only to play and seek worldly pleasures, to live in sin with no conscience. Satan wants both Jesus and the world. Lest ye fall into ruin, cast off ye the works of darkness and put on ye the armor of light.​

11 And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed. 12 The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light. —Romans 13:11-12 (KJV)​

5 Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand. —Philippians 4:5 (KJV)​

17 And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely. —Revelation 22:17 (KJV)​

The bride of Christ is the worldwide body of believers who are under the lordship of Jesus. These are born-again, blood-cleansed believers (sinners/saved). God's word tells us there will come a very last cry, or prayer, of the Holy Spirit, when he knows his work on earth is about to be completed.​
