God Created All Things

God created a beautiful universe. Amen! When he was finished his creation he looked at his work and said that is was very good. What a wondrous moment. Hallelujah! God the Father, God the Son, and the Holy Spirit together, the "us" in Genesis (ch. 1, v. 26) whom made man in the image and likeness of God, there, looking over creation, proclaiming it very good. Amen, Amen, Amen!
26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. —Genesis 1:26 (KJV)

God Created Man

God created man and gave man dominion over all of earth. Since the fall of man, with Adam and Eve, we have continually lived in a state of sin. [Thank you LORD for sending your only begotten son that we may have salvation through Christ Jesus.] It was God's plan all along. God created man, above all else, to glorify God.

In God's Image and Likeness

In God's image and likeness man seeks to know more about God and his creation. Man seeks to explore the world around him and discover that which God created and gave him dominion over. God created man with the capacity to reason, to discover and learn, the capacity of art and science, the capacity to build and create, and the freedom to choose. Be certain we have not the power of creation that exists in God alone, yet we use our intellect, given us by God Almighty, to solve problems and discover more about the natural world that God put us in; and to choose the free gift of salvation through grace with Christ Jesus. As Christians (sinners/saved) we are to deny self and turn away from worldly pleasures and glorify God in praise, worship, prayer, and fellowship.

The Natural World of God's Creation

Man has made many discoveries about the world and physical universe in which we live. Recently, an apparent interstellar object passing through the Solar System was discovered by a scientist working in Hawaii. The animation below depicts what is believed to be the first observed example of one of God's heavenly creations that is still traveling between solar systems. The object has been named A/2017 U1.

Interstellar Asteroid A/2017 U1
Update for 11/17/2017

A/2017 U1 (previously C/2017 U1 (PANSTARRS)) is an apparent interstellar object passing through our Solar System. It was discovered on a highly hyperbolic orbit by Robert Weryk on October 19, 2017 with observations made by the Pan-STARRS telescope when the object was 0.2 AU (30,000,000 km; 19,000,000 mi) from Earth. Initially thought to be a comet, it was reclassified as an asteroid a week later.

Based on the first two weeks of observations, 2017 U1's orbital eccentricity is 1.195 ± 0.001, the highest of any object yet observed in the Solar System. The previous record holder was C/1980 E1 with an outbound-orbit eccentricity of 1.057. The high eccentricity of 2017 U1 both inbound and outbound indicates that it has never been gravitationally bound to the Solar System and is presumably an interstellar object

From Darkness To Light

It's amazing that atheism exists at all. To live in darkness, without the light of Christ, and without the fruit of the spirit, is not God's desire for man, for God wants all to come home. Knowing that man is created in God's image and likeness, there must surely be some part of God imprinted upon each of our hearts, from the beginning, waiting to be circumcised in Christ our LORD and Savior, through the power of the Holy Spirit. Salvation, the greatest miracle of all, and the greatest gift from God, for his only begotten son, Jesus Christ, died on that cross, bearing the sin of all humanity. Praise God in all his glory. That is a powerful love. God hates sin, therefore with powerful love, there is powerful justice. God's love and justice are perfect and truth. God's love and justice meet at the Cross. God can do anything he desires. When God commands move that mountain, it moves. But there is one thing God cannot do and that is command someone follow Himself, that person is free to choose. That's the glory of God and his love for people is to offer them the free gift and grace of salvation—all they have to do is choose God and flee the ungodliness and worldly passions and live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives whilst we await Christ's return. Hallelujah! Amen.
