"And behold, a leper came and worshiped Him, saying, “Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean.” Then Jesus put out His hand and touched him, saying, “I am willing; be cleansed.” Immediately his leprosy was cleansed." (Matthew 8:2-3 NKJV)
The challenge is not the degree of your sin or 'leprosy', the issue is whether you are humble enough to approach Jesus for forgiveness and cleansing. He has never rejected anyone, He will not reject you.
Consider the leper's statement “Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean.” This presupposes that he believed in Jesus' ability to heal the sick, but wondered if He will be interested in helping him.
"Anyone that comes to me, I will in no wise cast away." Jesus is waiting for you today. He will not cast you away, He will accept you and help you out of your current predicament.
If you will be humble enough and come to Him with your 'leprosy'. He will be saying to you also “I am willing; be cleansed.”
CHORUS: "I am coming Lord, coming unto thee. Wash me, cleanse me with the blood that flows from Calvary"
ACTION PLAN: Stop struggling right now and turn to Christ for help.
PRAYER: I am standing in need of your help, oh Lord. Grant me victory over ______ (fill in the space with your sins and sinful habits)
