The Purpose Of Marriage Isn't To Stay Together Forever

40 to 50 % of marriages in America end in divorce . Because now that both men and women work women are no longer dependent on men to survive. In past times the women had to depend on the man otherwise they would starve or be forced to sell themselves. Thats why in the Bible Jesus states people must stay together not get divorced .Those times people had a much lower consciousness than people do today. Men then if they could would divorce a woman when she got older and was no longer sexually appealing , and go out and find a younger wife and the older wife would be on her own with no means of support .Thats why also men had multiple wives cause lots of men died in battles in those times . But in todays world especially in the richer western nations that is no longer necessary . The true purpose of a marriage is growth in awareness which is also the purpose of life . When a husband and wife are no longer growing in the relationship then it is fine that they separate and go their different ways .They don't have to be hateful to one and another or feel like a failure cause they got divorced , but if they have children they should stay together till they are raised . Why do people fall out of love ? When we always see the bride and groom start out so happy how could it ever go away ? As Jesus told us love God with all your heart , soul ,mind the number one thing to do .Why is that cause we can't create love it only flows through us .God is the Creator of all things including love. For a time God will pour out love in a marriage , but if the two partners don't focus on God and realize it's coming from him and they think they are generating between themselves then he will take it away . And people wonder what happen why they no longer feel the love that was so strong in the beginning. So they read a book , go to marriage consular everything and it doesn't work and they don't understand why. You never will find enough love from another person .Why cause they will never be able to give you the highest love that only the Creator can give you. You will always be at a loss thats true meaning of the man being the head of the household . God the father (masculine ) and we are the bride of Christ (feminine ) and the house hold is our souls .If people could understand this than there wouldn't be so many problems between the sexes and they could see marriage a opportunity for growth in awareness and if it no longer meets their needs they just grow on .
