The Faithful Promisor

"[For Abraham, human reason for] hope being gone, hoped in faith that he should become the father of many nations, as he had been promised, So [numberless] shall your descendants be. [Gen. 15:5.] He did not weaken in faith when he considered the [utter] impotence of his own body, which was as good as dead because he was about a hundred years old, or [when he considered] the barrenness of Sarah's [deadened] womb." (Romans 4:18‭-‬19 AMPC)

Abraham's hope as a human being was gone. He held unto someone beyond human's understanding. He held onto God, he exercised faith in Him. God gave him a word of promise that his descendants shall be without number. Abraham believed God's word concerning him.
The realities around him were contrary to God's promises to him. He was a hundred years and Sarah, his wife, has passed menopause, her womb was dead! Nevertheless, he believed the Lord that has made the promises.
What are the promises of God concerning you? Are they appearing unlikely to be fulfilled? Do not waiver, He that has promised is neither limited by space or resources. He shall fulfill His words concerning your life. He visited Abraham and Sarah at the time appointed unto them, He will visit you at your own appointed time. God bless you.

ACTION PLAN: Note all the promises of God concerning your life and pray specifically for their fulfillment.

PRAYER: Father, all your promises of old over my life, cause them to find fulfillment this year.
