Preaching At My Church

Dear Heavenly Father, I know you know my heart and what I want to do, and I know in my heart that it is for you, and I feel like I'm actually really Good at it. My dream is to be a preacher in my church, and you've made a way and promised that to me, and I thank you for it, truly. But I also want to be a Superhero, and the visions you showed me are great and all, but I'd rather be a preacher, but you know me, I'll probably end up doing what you want me to do in the end anyway, I'm not like Jonah from that bible story, I'm not going to run from what you want me to do, I love you too much for that. Anyway, thank you for everything, In Jesus name, I thank you, Amen.

I'm going to start seriously praying here. I preached again tonight at my church, I am a Preacher-in-Training after all. I was a little nervous truth be told, but I said everything God told me to say, and when Altar Call came around I know God heard me and my prayers for everyone that came up to me for prayer.

I really enjoy it, bringing God's word and praying for each person, I love it, it's my dream job. And I've realized something. For the past however many posts, I've been so focused on my powers that I didn't see I was making that my idol. And I don't want that. So I sincerely apologize for getting off track, If I had my choice I'd choose preaching. But it's up to God and what he wants. I don't mind being a superhero for Christ, with all of God's power at my side, but for now, I'll be more focused on serving who I belong to, and that's God.

So my pastor asked me if I wanted to preach again next Friday night, I told him yes. The more I do it the more I love it. So yeah.

Dear Heavenly Father, I love you very much, please lead, guide, and direct me, In Jesus' Name I pray, Amen.
