Years ago, i think i may have been 18 or 19, I asked God for power. I wrote all that I wanted to become on a sheet of paper, along with a list of prayers, and at the very bottom, I wrote the Name Blank as my new name, and underneath it, an underscore, symbolizing that it meant nothing, as in a blank space with nothing written on it. Truth be told, I have recently accepted the fact that I am nothing without Jesus, as it is written. Anyway, specifically I asked for three things in particular because at the time I had a lot of faith, and I had recently read the scriptures saying "Nothing shall be Impossible unto you" and "With God all things are possible." I asked for the body I would have received when I made it to Heaven, a perfect sinless body. I asked for clothes made personally by the Trinity and all of the Angels in Heaven.
I also asked for God to teach me everything he knew and to be my mentor.
Yeah, a lot of stuff I thought were impossible for man, but I believed God could do it all.
And of course on that day in this month that I blogged about it, I was truly saved from my hypocrisy, It took me this long to get it right, and earlier today If I hadn't prayed constantly binding and rebuking satan, I would have fallen already.
Seriously, Christian Music is a Godsend. I played "Hey Devil" by TobyMac on Loop for hours today, and I'm serious, I still have the song playing right now.
I just thought about it, maybe the reason it's taking so long is because all of the Angels in heaven are working on my clothes? Only God Knows.
Anyway that's the origin of Blank, and his...I mean my New Name.
