“Take no thought for the morrow. Sufficient to the day is the evil thereof,” was Jesus’ way of saying, “Don’t worry. Be happy.”
I pray that you will have peace and grace.
Are you worried?
Did you know that worry is sin? Why would you worry if you believed in an “Almighty”, God?
Phil 4:7 “and the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, shall guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” This is the serenity I speak of, that your heart and your mind are free of needless worry.
3 John 2-4 “Beloved, I pray that in all respects you may prosper and be in good health, just as your soul prospers. For I was very glad when brethren came and bore witness to your truth that is, how you are walking in truth.”
The prosperity, I speak of is a spiritual prosperity. You are truly content. There is no want. All your needs are met. You know the difference between need and want. You practice your faith. Your heart is awakened within you. You suffer no lack for God has provided. You use your God given talents to earn as He intended. You even budget. You are truly blessed. You have benefited from the natural laws of sowing and reaping. You know your source. You live abundantly. You plan knowing that this is not your home. You have been transformed. You are wise seeing blessings heretofore unseen. You keep a gratitude journal. You give of all, your God given talents including time, and money. You are prosperous. You take no thought for tomorrow because your children are clothed in scarlet.
What about wars and rumors of wars?
You may be saying to yourself, “But we have tornadoes, or hurricanes, or earthquakes here.”
The economy is bad.
I’ve been out of a job for a long time.
You’re writing this book about someone else. No, actually, I’m not. I’m writing this book specifically for you. You’re the one God chose to learn the concepts of financial serenity. I didn’t write it for any other purpose but to bring you to the place God wants you to be right now.
