I downloaded a memory verse skill (app) for my echo dot. The first thing it gave me was this; “The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.”
Lamentations 3:22-23 ESV
Made me think hopefully, like, God wants all to repent and be saved. But also I worry now, what about the adversaries destroyed by fire, the Hebrews 6 and 10, the unpardonable sin and the people who call on the Lord and are not heard?
Then I wanted Alexa to repeat it but she gave me another verse. I spoke over the dot while it was telling book/chapter/verse but it talked about (I think Philippians?) looking from my Alexa history it said this; “do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
Philippians 4:6-7 ESV
I don't know if it is some sort of message from God or the app is programmed to select from a list of uplifting/calming verses but this kind of gave me a boost today.
