GOD IS A MAN OF WAR

We all tend to think about God like he is some sort of friend and nice 'Big Guy' up there who takes care of prayers when we ask Him for things. We all tend to think He loves us, dotes on us, cares for us- maybe like pets. We all tend to think He's your typical nice guy. Yes, well He is all of those, to an extent but God is always a Man of War. If you read the Bible, the time before Jesus came and gave us grace, man you will be surprised. I just flip through the Old Testament at times and open pages. Just about every darn page is talking about how God is smiting this band of people or that. Why would a God of love be smiting people all the time or telling the Israelites to do it? What does this have to do with you having God Goggles and seeing Him? Let's answer those questions.

In the Bible, God sent out prophets to talk to other peoples time and again. He also tried to speak to them. None of them listened, heck, half the time the Israelites kept getting off track, forgetting, and not listening. The reason this is important to YOU and your life right now is because this same phenomena is Still Happening. People are still accepting the Lord and getting pulled off track. God is a Man of War. He is a nice God, a loving God, a merciful God but He is NOT going to stand by and keep letting this happen forever. Also, because satan tries to twist everything God does, he too is a man of War. So, you need to be prepared, enlightened, and attain knowledge in how to combat this opposing force as well as fight for God.

Have you ever wondered how come God is waiting so darn long to make things right? If He is a Man of War, how come He doesn't just come and blast everyone not of Him to highwater? People have been talking for what seems like forever about a great big God coming back and setting things straight. The more we wait though, the more it seems like nothing is really going to happen.

The reason that God has not come back yet is that He has a perfect timing and must finish a lot of things in order for Him to set it straight. Behind the scenes He is fighting a spiritual battle with satan continually. The angels are fighting on our behalf too! Who knows how many times satan has tried to put off the end of times. I bet noone could even count, unless you were God, how many people satan has knocked down in all his awful ways. I know that God knows everything and has a set time but I also know that satan wants to keep owning this world. Also the Bible speaks of 'princes of darkness, principalities of the unknown, etc. Here are some more verses below speaking about our God and how He means business is this WAR.

I already warned you that part of this book was actually looking up verses in God's Word for yourself. His Word is Your BEST sword available against satan and when you are close to Him, you will see more spiritual things. So you need to get in the habit of looking up His word and feasting on it. Well, I, have stated many times before that in this life with Jesus you entered into battle. I wish someone had been more 'in my face' about that early on in life. Oh yah, they told me in church but I never really took it to heart and even when I did, I was in my own little world wanting to do my own little thing. It is so easy to go through life and not recognize the battle at hand daily around us.

Look here people, you do not have time to stay in your own little world. That may sound callous or rough but it is SO REAL. It is time to get busy and get strategic. I do NOT want to find out when I finally get to heaven that I could have done something more to help you in this life. I want you to seriously listen up, look up, and study. This is SO important! I'm serious! We are coming down to the wire in this battle and its gonna start getting even tougher.

You think times are hard now? If you cannot hack the pressure you have been feeling from this economy downturn or whatever else you have been going through, then you are going to seriously have to get on your knees and have some words with Your Father. It is time to really start reading the Bible and everything you learn in this book. Now, enough of that and my little soap box. I just really really really want you to Hear me. Right now. Hear me. Let's get busy preparing you for battle.

This chapter is all about STRATEGY. In all battles there is strategy needed in order to win. If you want to go into battle just for the fun of it then fine you do not need strategy but what battle have you ever heard of that is like that? Do men and women fight to just fight or do they fight to WIN! I want to win. I want you to win. God wants you to WIN. Here is how you WILL WIN this battle.



SPIRITUAL WARFARE:


1. “The angel of the Lord encamps all around those who fear Him, and delivers them.” (Psalm 34:7)


2. “For He shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways.” (Psalm 91:11)


3. “And let the angel of the Lord chase him … And let the angel of the Lord pursue them … Let the destruction come upon him unexpectedly.” (Psalm 35:5-8)

BOYD'S IDEAS and An Idea of How They Affect Us


Called the OODA Loop, the model outlines a four-point decision loop that supports quick, effective and proactive decision-making. The four stages are:

1. Observe – collect current information from as many sources as practically possible.

2. Orient – analyze this information, and use it to update your current reality.

3. Decide – determine a course of action.

4. Act – follow through on your decision.

You continue to cycle through the OODA Loop (see figure 1, below) by observing the results of your actions, seeing whether you've achieved the results you intended, reviewing and revising your initial decision, and moving to your next action.

Observing and orienting correctly are key to a successful decision. If these steps are flawed, they'll lead you to a flawed decision, and a flawed subsequent action. So while speed is important, so too is improving your analytical skills and being able to see what's really happening.

Note:
The OODA Loop model is closely related to Plan Do Check Act. Both highlight the importance of analyzing a situation accurately, checking that your actions are having the intended results, and making changes as needed.

Let's look more closely at what each stage involves:

Stage 1: Observe

At this initial point in the loop, you should be on the look-out for new information, and need to be aware of unfolding circumstances. The more information you can take in here, the more accurate your perception will be. Like an F-86 pilot with a wide field of vision, you want to capture as much incoming data as possible. The kind of questions you need to be asking are:

• What's happening in the environment that directly affects me?
• What's happening that indirectly affects me?
• What's happening that may have residual affects later on?
• Were my predictions accurate?
• Are there any areas where prediction and reality differ significantly?

Stage 2: Orient

One of the main problems with decision-making comes at the Orient stage: we all view events in a way that's filtered through our own experiences and perceptions. Boyd identified five main influences:

• Cultural traditions.
• Genetic heritage.
• The ability to analyze and synthesize.
• Previous experience.
• New information coming in.

Orientation is essentially how you interpret a situation. This then leads directly to your decision.

The argument here is that by becoming more aware of your perceptions, and by speeding up your ability to orient to reality, you can move through the decision loop quickly and effectively. The quicker you understand what's going on, the better. And if you can make sense of the situation and the environment around you faster than your competition, you'll have an advantage.

And it's important to remember that you're constantly re-orienting. As new information comes in at the Observe stage, you need to process it quickly and revise your orientation accordingly.


Stage 3: Decide

Decisions are really your best guesses, based on the observations you've made and the orientation you're using. As such, they should be considered to be fluid works-in-progress. As you keep on cycling through the OODA Loop, and new suggestions keep arriving, these can trigger changes to your decisions and subsequent actions – essentially, you're learning as you continue to cycle through the steps. The results of your learning are brought in during the Orient phase, which in turn influences the rest of the decision making process.

Stage 4: Act

The Act stage is where you implement your decision. You then cycle back to the Observe stage, as you judge the effects of your action. This is where actions influence the rest of the cycle, and it's important to keep learning from what you, and your opponents, are doing.

Using the Model

The OODA Loop isn't meant to be a static, linear "do this, then this, then this" type model: it needs to be a smoother, more continual process. With this approach, the faster you can move through each stage the better. In fact, if you were to sit down and map out each step, your decisions would likely slow down instead of speed up.

The goal of the model is to increase the speed with which you orient and reorient based on new information coming in. You want to be able to make a smooth and direct transition between what you observe, how you interpret it, and what you do about it.

When you make these transitions rapidly, you're in a position to be proactive, and you can take advantage of opportunities your competition isn't even aware of yet. Boyd calls this "operating within your opponent's OODA Loop." Here, your competitor is moving too slowly and simply reacting to environmental changes. By contrast, you're working on the offensive, making strikes and forcing them to react to you.

Tip:
Be careful with this emphasis on speed. In some situations, you genuinely need it. In others, a more cautious, deliberate approach is appropriate. This is likely to be affected by things like the length of product cycle times, the rate of change in your industry, and the consequences of a poor decision.


Key Points

Whether it's looking out for the next big opportunity, making a move before your competitors do, or assessing the current state of affairs, you often need to be sharp-sighted and decisive. The OODA Loop gives you a great way to maintain this vigilance, and be proactive in a rapidly changing world.

By using the OODA Loop, you can be nimble in your decision-making, and make changes to your decisions and strategy quickly and decisively.

Elements of warfare

Boyd divided warfare into three distinct elements:

• Moral Warfare: the destruction of the enemy's will to win, disruption of alliances (or potential allies) and induction of internal fragmentation. Ideally resulting in the "dissolution of the moral bonds that permit an organic whole [organization] to exist." (i.e., breaking down the mutual trust and common outlook mentioned in the paragraph above.)
• Mental Warfare: the distortion of the enemy's perception of reality through disinformation, ambiguous posturing, and/or severing of the communication/information infrastructure.
• Physical Warfare: the abilities of physical resources such as weapons, people, and logistical assets.

Learn How Your Opponent Works

Ok, there are numerous verses in the Bible that teach how satan works and we are going to take a look at those but I wanted to state a few things I have learned over time in my own life. Some of these I have found Biblical evidence for and some not. For the sake of time I am just going to list them. I would love to hear your thoughts on the website. I want to include all information I can to help you on your past in this war. I pray and ask God to be sure to keep me straight on what to tell you and what not.

1. Remember that in the Pendulum Component satan and his minions work also. For instance, when I am close to God and stable, or as stable as I can be here on this Earth in my relationship to God, I see satan hitting my husband more! When I in turn am being hit, Joe is stable and resting. It seems to swing back and forth that way in all our relationships. Here lately, there really has not been much rest in any way in most all our relationships both in family and outside of family. I want you to learn to watch out for when this happens. For example, say your husband comes home and is pleasant, happy, and content but you on the other hand have been angry, resentful, and fighting inside with yourself all day long. Realize that this is the Pendulum Component at hand right in front of you! Take it to God and do not let satan use it as a devisive tool against you and your husband, or whoever it may be. He is there to divide. One of the best ways to divide a team is to hit one side hard. Besides that if you are strapped for resources which he probably is right now with the war ramping up, then you will hit one side and then take turns. He only has so many bad angels to help him you know? So remember to watch for this happening in your relationships.

1. If you have decided to do something for the Lord in the past, something BIG, publicly, did you notice things happening that tried to draw away your FOCUS on the Task at Hand?

This list starts off easy and then will make you think.

1. "The devil did it Principle" - People say this all the time.... the unbelief that he exists vs. God's truth that the devil does indeed exist and is not just an idea but a very real entity

2. Self Love vs. Gods Love

3. Self Glorifying vs. Gods Glorifying

4. satan's trinity (satan, antichrist, false prophet) vs. God's trinity

5. Wealth of this world vs. Blessings of God both here and in heaven

6. Possession/Oppression bodies- "Spirit Guides" vs. God's Holy Spirit

7. "It's My Life, Do What Ya Wanna Do Principle" vs. God's Life Principle of it's your life but you are borrowing it for His glory

8. The lie or idea of aliens/ people disappearing vs. God's Rapture Principle

9. Coexist/ Peace/ One World Religion Tolerance but not being tolerant of God/ Christians vs. God's Divine Truth of One Way and it is Jesus

10. Health & Wealth Gospel with all its Signs and Wonders vs. God's Truth of Hell or Total Destruction - We must discern the spirits, preachers, gospel we are hearing. Sometimes the truth hurts. We cannot change the gospel to suit our needs.

11. Power Movement (churches professing power & needing supernatural occurrences nonstop, Power Platform) vs. God's Divine Discernment and Timing for the Miraculous

12. Past False Prophets such as Jim Jones vs. The Lord's Prophet Jesus

13. New Age Movement's false ideas of manifesting through vision boards, positive thoughts, visualization, etc vs. God's idea of Prayer and Production according to His Will, not ours

14. SOAP OPERA CHRONICLES: I call it this because man its like living in a soap opera. God told us not to be jealous, covet, or make judgements against others. Why? Because of the fact that satan uses these to go against what God needs! How many times have I met someone and went with that first judgement, that first jealousy, that first coveting and missed an important relationship God wanted me to have! Don't do it.

15. satan Goggles. OH YES. He gives them too. satan tempted Eve in the garden, telling her all about the fruit she was not supposed to eat. Read it again in Genesis 3: 1-24... in verse 6 it says Eve saw the fruit was 'pleasing was good for food, that is was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make one wise, she too of its fruit and ate.' She would NEVER have done so if satan had not said the right words to help Entice her to open her eyes to this new sin.

Depression- Oppression- Exhaustion- Hunger

Many millions of people are going through what they believe is depression nowadays. You can watch the television set and see this is the truth. Just about every other commercial is touting some new depression pill. For the purposes of the project I researched depression and found that indeed it is an occurance that has happened since the dawn of man. In fact, Hippocrates wrote about depression in his work, "Aphorisms". In it he spoke of "fears and dispondencies, if they last a long time." The term depression itself is taken from the Latin vers deprimere or 'to press down.' In 1665 English author Richard Baker wrote in the Chronicle that is was someone who shows signs of "a great depression of spirit." I do not want to bore you with a history of depression but only want to show that it is obviously something people have dealt with since humans began studying themselves, at least. spirit

Have you wondered why it seems like there is more depression now than ever before?

I believe there is a better answer than any pill, drug, or even positive therapy out there. You know, I went to a counselor with one of my husbands for several months at one point in my life. This counselor was even a pastor! He was hired by our local church to be a pastoral counselor. He had three or four degrees in counseling and the like. He also had a theological degree. He made a very wise statement to me once during one of my private sessions. He said that if more people simply trusted in the Lord, leaned on God, spoke with Him daily, got fed daily, and truly yearned to attain Christ-likeness- He would be out of a job!!!

If you think about this, its true. I have gone through this same sort of discussion time and again with friends of mine. They say, 'Kimberly, how in the world is it that you have been through SO MUCH *&$^, it's what they say!, and you are STILL sane? How do you handle it all?" - I lean on God.

I believe in the spiritual world, duh, you are reading this book. I know how hard satan can oppress and depress a person. I have been through it! I could probably write an entire book on depression and God but we do not have time for that. For now, in order for you to use your God Goggles properly I have one HUGE statement that you must take into account.

Depression and Oppression are merely a symptom of the spiritual war at hand.

That is it. If you are going through these feelings, then you know something is up! Take note of it. Do not allow yourself to wallow in it further. Depression and oppression are merely quicksand in the spiritual realm. Once in, satan will gladly keep you there.

satan cannot depress or oppress you unless you let him. Therefore, when you find yourself in this position find a way out.

1. Pray about it first. Take it to God. Usually this works right away.

2. Ask the Holy Spirit to intervene and pray for you. He knows what you need even when you do not need it. Ask Him to open your eyes to the causes and the spiritual realm. Ask Him to help you see the spiritual realm and what exactly is going on.

3. If not, God has allowed this time for you. Find out why. What does God want you to learn from it? Is there a timing reason. Does God want you to slow down? Have you opened doors in the spiritual realm you should not have? If so, close them fast. Seal it up!

4. Next, go to a mentor or your pastor and ask for help with the spiritual causes. Together pray. God says "Where two or more are gathered, He is there." And He also says a "cord of three is not easily broken." When you pray with another believer, the Holy Spirit is there too! Together, you can combat this.

5. If that does not work, the next step is a deep intervention. Get together many believers and pray over it. Do laying of hands. (more information see other book ______"

6. If after all of this God does not lift your depression then my next suggestion is to get busy for God anyways. Paul, while in prison, would sing praises unto God. He was sad. He missed the followers in the churches for Christ. He missed working for God. In the midst of all of that, in fact sometimes for years, He would sing songs to God. This got through to the Lord. God loves a cheerful heart especially in times of distress. Read through Job. See how he handled it, especially towards the end. He came through it and God blessed him two fold. Wait it out. Wait on God. Perhaps patience is the answer God wants you to learn. satan cannot let you go through anything unless God allows it. So, hold fast. Stand firm. Stand the test.

7. In my past depression and oppression sometimes came because of my spiritual hunger and exhaustion. If I am hungry for the Word or God, I am easily a target for satan. If I am physically, mentally, or spiritually exhausted, I am an easy target. To keep from having this happen to you take time to study God's word, take time to rest in Him (ie a Sabbath), and take time to care for your vessel. He gave you your body and spirit to take care of. Feed it properly and properly maintain it like you would your car. It's a working machine in many ways.

8. Last depression and oppression can be a symptom of spiritual war pushing on you. To handle this you can do four things:

• MOVE- You can move away from that area or quit that job. If you feel that is what God wants, do it. Sometimes He lets you know the heat is too hot. Get out. You can choose to stay and see if He was just testing you also. Take it to God in prayer to figure out what to do.
• DELETE PEOPLE- That may seem harsh, but, if you are hanging around people who are dabbling in things they shouldn't you need to delete them or just spend less time around them. If you can't handle the heat, back off. It is easier for someone to pull you down then for you to pull them up.
• MOVE TO THE BACK: You have jumped the gun and are waging the war too heavily. You remember when America joined up and went to Iraq? I think they went too hot, too heavy, too fast. We are still there almost twenty years later! You do not wanna stay stuck on a front too long. You want to train yourself to get in, get out, get the job done and move on. - Sometimes, God wants you to take baby steps before you move to the frontlines. He might let you know to back off a bit with this means. If you are being too bold too fast, lay low a bit. Christ did this, in a way. He would go spend time with God, and get filled up, then hit the fronts again. You need to take time to see where God wants you. Do not just jump in. My husband has trouble with this. He wants to change the world now. But he has to remember that God might have other plans sometimes. Remember that the background people and the people who lay the way for the front line people are just as important as the frontliners. The people who help set up the church are important because there would be no church without cleaning, bulletin folding, daycare workers, cooks, and so on. We need those people. If God created you to be a background person that is ok! He needs you in that role in the Army of Christ. Perform the role to the best of your ability. BE ALL YOU CAN BE in the Army of Christ! If He is molding you to be a foreground person, like I believe He has been doing with me for 37 years now of being underground, then He will give you the right timing to do it. Just remember to look to the leader for your orders. I know of many missionaries who spent countless years in countries I can't even pronounce. They had to move home for a bit to take care of an ill child or just to rest. It's ok. If you have been in the front for years, it's ok to admit you need refreshments. Freshen up and then get back at it.

God Goggles Military Terms and Strategy List

Let me first speak to the Ladies. I know you might not be into all things military but I do know that you want to wage war against satan and WIN. I know you want to protect what is yours, granted you by God, your husband and family. I know you want to work for God and be Effective. And if you are single, I know you want to either find a mate who also believes in the Lord or do a fine job at being single for the Lord. No matter what, you do need to know these ideas. It's not necessary for you to memorize the terms themselves, just the concepts so when you work through life, you will be prepared to better wage battle. Just because we are ladies, gentile and the weaker vessel, most times, does not mean that we cannot wield a sword or two albeit with a little grace.

In joining the armed forces for God, it is good to do what all humans do when getting ready for war: STUDY IT. Humans over the many millenia have studied war back to the time of Sun Tzo in 400 BC. Not only that, in studying God's Word, my husband and I learned that yes there were books of the Bible that had been left out due to differing reasons. We decided to study those as well. He has studied them more so than I. One of them states something to the effect that the fallen angels taught man to wage war and how to use battle tools. I was intrigued by that idea. If this is true, and well, we know that the angels do understand was because of various accounts even in the Bible itself, then we can surmise that the Spiritual War that wages daily behind the vale and invisible is one that we can study, like you would any other war.

So, I began studying war also. When researching for his book and praying my way through I came across a list of military terms. God spoke gently to my heart that satan and the angels use the very same military tactics that we do today. The book I speak of above is the book of Enoch. Now, you may believe it is of God or not, that is debatable, but, it does state that the angels who were thrown out of heaven taught man how to fight amongst themselves... I began to wonder how satan works behind the scenes and how I could help to present that information in an understandable way which could help us all to better see how he works as well.

Having God Goggles is not just focusing on God, our Lord. When a country, group, individual is at war they must know their opponent, their enemy. We have to see the spiritual realm and to be able to prepare for all matters at hand. When I go to war or when I represent a police force I need to be strategically prepared to defend myself in the best way I know how. Although I represent the good of the state, justice, and all things right, I need to know how to think like the adversary. So, although I think it is wrong to focus on satan for great lengths of time we are going to study some war terms and then look at them in a Christian light also. After that, we will look at some stories in the Bible and see how satan used those tactics in his strategy against our Lord's people.

When reading through these military terms, I hope to open your eyes and in turn open your eyes to how you can work against the enemy also. Again, what is good for the goose is good for the gandor. It's time to fight back with what has been dealt people, or at least be more aware and therefore able to together with God, STAND.

Most of the terms first state the term itself with current well known meaning and then state the new meaning given for the purposes of GOD GOGGLES. This is to help those of us who do not know much military lingo to understand better. Those terms that are better known will just have the new meanings. It is a kind of God Goggles Military Terms Mini-Dictionary. I hope it helps when reading the examples in the next chapter. I would have placed it at the end of the book but that rendered a lot of flipping pages when looking back and forth.

Remember, War is best Won when the soldiers have practiced until their actions become second nature. In police training we learned many defensive tactics and pressure points to help us in hand to hand combat. We practiced so much that at times I thought I was going to die of boredom. I can tell you from real life that I am thankful though. My time spent in the ring was well worth it because I have had to use it once since then. The moves were second nature and I was able to withstand the enemy. Practice truly does make perfect. Enjoy the chapter!

Attrition Warfare:

He shall speak words against the Most High, and shall wear out the saints of the Most High, and shall think to change the times and the law; and they shall be given into his hand for a time, times, and half a time. Daniel 7:25 ESV

Attrition Warfare: This is a strategy of wearing down an enemy to the point of collapse through continuous loss of personnel and materials.

For our purposes: No change in definition.

• satan and his minions are able to do this in many ways. Probably the most effective way satan uses this tactic is in loss of personnel. Every day, believers fall away, follow their own desires, and give up on God. I can see this tactic being used immensely in the here and now. The saints are definitely being worn down! I believe this is the number one way he is trying to hurt us in these times.
• Example: Lookup Job's story in the Bible. He lost all his material possessions as well as his family, or support group. Or consider Saul when he was losing men because of lack of food and dessertion due to his soldier's dismal outlook, the opposition being larger, and pure fear.
• What happens when we lose our material possessions or our support? I certainly can tell you. Years ago, when I lost everything, well, when I spent it. When I had made everyone mad at me and they lost trust in me. When I moved to North Carolina all by myself with two children, leaving one behind, and then having practically nothing.... sitting at the dump to get furniture. I felt degenerate and debased. I felt like there was no hope. I felt like there was no joy and no chance of there ever being any. I assumed I could not do anything about it, for years. I became comlplacent and just learned to be joyful without much. That was a good attitude to take but I could have taken a MUCH BETTER one. I could have fought the artrition that happened to me out of my own stupidity and out of I know, satan's hits. I could have known that I had GOD on my side and whatever comes to us and is taken from us, He gives back twofold. Perhaps I would not have been rich but I could have been EFFECTIVE for Christ. That means more to me than anything! So, if you have lost everything in this economy my heart goes out to you but I also want you to be empowered. We may never have a lot here but we have the POWER in Christ to make some blessings in heaven!!!! Think of all the people who will come to you, people you may never even know here, if you stand up for Jesus. They might thank you for helping them to get there. What a thought.

Bait and Bleed

Knowing their thoughts, he said to them, “Every kingdom divided against itself is laid waste, and no city or house divided against itself will stand. Matthew 12:25


Bait and Bleed: This is a military strategy similar to the concept of divide and conquer. This concept means that an outside opponent causes two rivals to 'bleed each other white' through wars and discretions between those two rivals whilst the first opponent watches from afar, unscathed.

For our purposes: No change necessary excepting that we believe that satan can turn us against even ourselves. Humans consistently do things to themselves, allow satan to take hold or just choose sinful things, that works against our own soul.

• This is a HUGE way in which satan is winning in this war. He is driving our families apart and causing divorces. He is breaking up churches. He is causing disbelief, distrust, and ill will towards Christianity as a whole... He is DIVIDING God's people. How is he doing this many times? He is having two forces who might have otherwise loved each other, worked together, even had seperate beliefs but been peaceful end up fighting one another to the point of death sometimes. What is the death in this concept? Death in Relationships. Relationships. You can see this daily! satan is using us like puppets and causing us to fight amongst ourselves. Husbands and wives are being given the bait and bleed and are being turned against one another. Different religions are being baited and bled in that satan is making them focus on the particulars of their beliefs and causing unrest and division. Jesus said not to get hung up with that kind of stuff! They believe in the same Jesus! They should be fighting this war TOGETHER.
• Now, Jesus also said He came to divide but this was for our good! The focus is different. Jesus wants the best for us and will sift us like wheat. See the difference?
• Example: After Solomon's death, Rehoboam and Jeroboam split into the two nations of Israel- Israel and Judah. Instead of twelve tribes banded together, this left ten in the north and two in the south. They lost a severe advantage in being one. They were more easily conquered by the Egyptians, Assyrians, Babylonians, etc. This happens today in the way that satan turns us against our own families, or spouses, breaking up the strong family unit. He stands and watches from afar as he infiltrates, conquers, and divides.

Bystander Effect

The bystander effect or Genovese syndrome is a social psychological phenomenon that refers to cases where individuals do not offer any means of help in an emergency situation to the victim when other people are present. The probability of help has in the past been thought to be inversely related to the number of bystanders; in other words, the greater the number of bystanders, the less likely it is that any one of them will help. The mere presence of other bystanders greatly decreases intervention. The Temptation of Jesus

Decapitation: Achieving strategic paralysis by targeting political leadership, command and control, strategic weapons, and critical economic means.

Quarterback Sack: For the purpose of our list, we call this the Quarterback Sack. This is the paralysis of our leadership, command central, and underming our strategic weapon which is our leader being able to hear, convey, teach, and present God's Words. This is also a further means of economic downfall in not backing our church.

• If satan is brave enough and has the pardon my french but the cahoonas enough to tempt Jesus himself, do you not think he will tempt your pastor or leader who you love, respect, pray for, listen to, learn from, work with, and take your time to pay attention to? You love your minister do you not? Can you imagine, satan tempted our Lord our God. He WILL SLAM your pastor without blinking and man, your pastor needs you.
• satan is attacking our leadership- our pastors, youth pastors, deacons, etc. We see this often in how they are brought down by temptation and the whole world looks at them like they should have known better and they are somehow above being human. These people are our command and control units. When a church or religious group loses them, they lose a great asset. In losing them, they not only lose the asset that works for them but the trust that backed it. The subconscious level is hit as well. Sacking our Quarterbacks is huge people. How does satan accomplish this? By using other tactics to extinguish our strategic weapons. What weapons do we have? The greatest is prayer. When he attacks our belief in prayer, our time spent in prayer, our devotion to prayer, and our education in prayer; we lose a strategic covering for our quarterbacks.
• Another way he hits our quarterbacks is in the pocketbook. Our leaders cannot function without proper monies providing the means for them to do their job and to not worry about the money aspect. Think about your own life. You run a home or a family. Perhaps you run a business. Do you not do a much better job when the means are provided for well? The same goes for our leaders. It takes funds to run a campaign in war. It takes proper management, weapons, funds and to win a war. Besides that, in the Old Testament, or Old Covenant, God set up a system where the people paid the Levites or pastors of the time and that helped them to live. They worked constantly for the temple and God. They had not time to work a full time job and take care of their food and life. God said the people should provide. Let's back up our church as a whole and our pastors, providing for those who work for the Lord, full time. I completely disagree with flagrant salaries for religious jobs but that is between them, their church congregation, and God. It is not for me to judge. Let's not let satan win and sack our quarterbacks anymore.
• As the war wages, remember that the form of the church might change depending on the needs of the community. Your leader might not have the term pastor or deacon or whatever attached to his name. BUT, if he is hearing from God and directing, annointed by Christ, follow him. RANKS might change but God does not.
• Example: When Babylon conquered Israel the first time and Nebuchenezer placed _____ as the king taking the young king _______ back to Babylon with him as his personal guest along with his ministers, high ranking officials of Judah, priests and prophets, including Daniel- Shadrack- Meeshack- and Obednego, this military facet was used. This completely upset the leadership of Israel. This happens now when satan carries off our fathers from the family unit. The leadership is upset. This also happens when our political leadership is taken off course, or is paralyzed in events that get them busy and misdirected on the tasks at hand. I call it busywork. I see this also happening to America today in the economic facet. satan is severely taking away our economic means from the inside out by greed. That is another story though.

Deception

14 And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. 15 So it is no surprise if his servants, also, disguise themselves as servants of righteousness. Their end will correspond to their deeds.

2 Corinthians 11

3 And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing. 4 In their case the god of this world (satan) has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.

2 Corinthians 4:3-4

Deception is a strategy that seeks to deceive or trick and can create false perceptions, views, and alliances.

For our Purposes: Deception is the strategy by which satan and his workers deceive, trick, coerce, falsify, twist, meander, push, unfocus, and deliberately lie changing our perception, view, alliances, and faiths.

• satan is the great deceiver. He thrives on deceiving people and wants to cut us off from our Father, our fellowship with other believers, from our stability in general. satan does this is many, many ways. He uses this tool not only outwardly but inwardly as well. This is a pretty self explanatory term.
• satan not only deceives by twisting truths, disguising as being on God's team, and typical deceiving ways but he deceives by doing what the second verse says. He flat out BLINDS unbelievers!!! Do you see that? Read it. He has the ability to blind unbelievers. Pray that God would open the eyes of unbelievers you know. If you are an unbeliever, pray God would keep satan from doing this to you too.
• A huge way satan deceives us is be pretending to not exist at all. Think about it. How many times have you heard people quip nonchalantly, The Devil made me do it! ? Do they really mean that? Do they really believe satan made them do it? No. Most people don't really believe he exists or if they do they have an untrue knowledge of what He is really like. He is real, very real, people.
• Adam and Eve were the first to be deceived. Reread their story and see how he hung the idea of 'being likened unto Christ' in front of Eve. Also look at David and Bathsheba. satan deceives us all in small ways daily as well as large ways. It is easy to be swayed off course if we do not look closely at things. Just last night I was reading a website about a man who teaches to see Christ more fully. I really enjoyed the website but I realized about the fifth page in that not one Bible verse was listed and there were small deceptions and things that did not align with God's Word.

Deflection

Casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7

5 Then Jehoshaphat stood up in the assembly of Judah and Jerusalem at the temple of the LORD in the front of the new courtyard 6 and said:

“LORD, the God of our ancestors, are you not the God who is in heaven? You rule over all the kingdoms of the nations. Power and might are in your hand, and no one can withstand you. 7 Our God, did you not drive out the inhabitants of this land before your people Israel and give it forever to the descendants of Abraham your friend? 8 They have lived in it and have built in it a sanctuary for your Name, saying, 9 ‘If calamity comes upon us, whether the sword of judgment, or plague or famine, we will stand in your presence before this temple that bears your Name and will cry out to you in our distress, and you will hear us and save us.'

10 “But now here are men from Ammon, Moab and Mount Seir, whose territory you would not allow Israel to invade when they came from Egypt; so they turned away from them and did not destroy them. 11 See how they are repaying us by coming to drive us out of the possession you gave us as an inheritance. 12 Our God, will you not judge them? For we have no power to face this vast army that is attacking us. We do not know what to do, but our eyes are on you.”

2 Chronicle 20

Deflection is in military terms a technique of shooting ahead of a moving target so that the target and projectile will collide. In Chess it is a tactic that forces an opposing chess piece to leave a square. In engineering it is the displacement of a structural element under load.

For our Purposes: So, deflection in God's military terms is actually 3 things.

• The sending out of prayers Ahead of Time, thereby timing their collision or impact early.
• Bombarding the heavens with prayers, using fasting or annointing oils, or calling upon the Holy Spirit specifically; thereby forcing the moving of the opponents.
• Calling on the Holy Spirit to deflect or displace the stress, oppression, or negativity you are feeling because of the spiritual war at hand.
• Example 1: Jehoshaphat.... Read 2 Chronicle 20 (his prayer above) for a Miraculous WAR Story! Jehoshaphat was told a massive army was coming. He and his people fasted and prayed. God spoke through one of his men, Jahaziel, and told them the War was God's. They would be fine. Read on to see the miracle God caused.
• Example: When Joseph, the one in the Bible with the twelve brothers who sold him and their jealousy over their father (robes of many colors), was praying and talking to God, God told him he would rule over his brothers and others. He prayed for blessings then. They then sold him and it took many years of preparation and prayer but God made it all come to pass. I love this story! It is a story of hope and God definitely moves people and pressures to make His ultimate Will come to pass. The key here is the prayers years before they actually hit the target and come to fruition. We can take part in this in praying for our children and their future spouses. Also, if we are planning an event or a war tactic, then we can pray WAY ahead of time to move God's heart and the spiritual opponents.

Denial

1 Samuel 17 I cannot print the whole chapter out but it’s a great story which the opposing team uses Denial through Goliath.



Denial: This strategy is one that seeks to destroy an enemy's ability to wage war at all.

For the Purposes of our list, Delegation Denial is a way that satan works against us to destroy our ability to wage war back with him by dividing the differing branches and religions where would we could stand as one. This term is similar to another except it pinpoints the division amongst the churches themselves. He uses numerous other strategies listed here to make that happen, wearing us down or impeding our resources. This is the combined effort of many strategies.

• Example: This can happen when many different peoples, cultures, or alliances come together. How many times have you seen differing religions, churches, groups of believers trying to work together and then there is some quarrel. Then they give up trying again for a number of years. I personally feel that satan uses this tactic against the churches in getting them to quarrel amongst themselves, focus on unnecessary religious topics, be jealous of each other, be judgemental of each other, etc. By doing this, he seperates them and takes away their ability to have strength in numbers.

Distraction

Martha and Mary

38 Now as they went on their way, Jesus entered a village. And a woman named Martha welcomed him into her house. 39 And she had a sister called Mary, who sat at the Lord's feet and listened to his teaching. 40 But Martha was distracted with much serving. And she went up to him and said, “Lord, do you not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Tell her then to help me.”41 But the Lord answered her, “Martha, Martha, you are anxious and troubled about many things, 42 but one thing is necessary. Mary has chosen the good portion, which will not be taken away from her.”

Distraction: An attack by a force on one or two flanks (sides), leading up to a strong frontal attack by the remaining members of the opposing force

For the purpose of our military terms Distraction involves Enticement, Entrancement, and Lust. satan hits us on the flanks thereby misdirecting our God Goggles focus. When we do this we miss him sieging up the middle and completely obliterating our focus. He is able to sneak through our vision and cut to the core.

• satan uses this daily in thousands of ways. He uses this in ways that perhaps you might disagree with me, the writer, in fact. Consider the obvious ways of distraction. You know satan distracts us and entices uf to go after false idols in other men/women than our spouses, money, promotions at work, fortune, fame, etc. Have you considered the underlying distractions though? Something as simple as the yearning for a new house, a face lift, a sculpted body, or landscaping can be distractions if not taken into context and kept in proper placement. It is all in our mind sets. God wants us to prosper, yes, but He also wants us to focus on Him. If we spend too much time coveting or yearning for anything other than Him, then it becomes a distraction. We believe satan uses our culture, our wanting to live up to the Jones, our belief system, our past and the need to do better or break it apart and prove ourselves, and so many more aspects of life to distract us and keep us BUSY. In the verses above do you see how Martha became distracted by wanting to serve the Lord even? Jesus said that she was troubled about things she should not be and that Mary had chosen the correct actions to take. Mary had chosen to spend time with the Lord. We must consistently consider our actions and if they are aligning with what Christ would wish for us, for His needs, and the needs of the Spiritual Battle at hand. Being too busy in church and not spending enough private time with the Lord can even become a distraction. It will take energy to consistently check yourself but you will be much the better for it in the end if you do so. Fight this with all your might by taking your thoughts captive and your God Goggles ALERT and FOCUSED on the real matters.
• The key here is when we are distracted with these side issues we lose sight of satan and his team hacking away at our core. The side issue make us up in that every tindrel God weaves from our hearts can be twisted by satan. Not focusing on the Lord leaves our soul open for direct hits. Keeping focused on Jesus has a way of defending the middle ground as well as the flanks.

Encirclement

FINISH!!!! The Fellowship of the Believers

42 And they devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers. 43 And awe came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were being done through the apostles. 44 And all who believed were together and had all things in common. 45 And they were selling their possessions and belongings and distributing the proceeds to all, as any had need. 46 And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they received their food with glad and generous hearts, 47 praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved. Acts 2 ESV

Encirclement: Both a strategy and tactic designed to Isolate and Surround enemy forces.

We need not change this term.

• Encirclement is carried out by isolating us from the fellowship of other believers and surrounding us. Have you ever been depressed or just lonely? I have. I felt surrounded by evil. I felt heavy and downtrodden. I did not want to go out into the world and much less go out to church. I felt alone. I felt a whole myriad of emotions. satan used lies to make me feel unworthy of being involved in a church or that people would think less of me because of my background. There have been times also when I did not have the gas money or had a broken down vehicle to be able to go to church or visit with the fellowship. satan had attacked my pocket book. There have also been times when I needed to do what I was called to do as a mother and stay home, homeschooling. This can be tough too! Staying home with children all of the time and having no adult conversation or support is not good. Too much of anything is never good. Whether the reason was an emotional attack or a physical attack, the deed was done. I was lonely. I was isolated. I felt lost. satan had adequately encircled me. When we are alone it is easier for him to attack our though processes and hearts. We need support of prayer from others, fellowship, and downright being active for the Lord. When you feel this coming on, fight with all your might and claim the blood of Jesus. Call for a ride from a friend. Tell your husband or wife to spend some time with you. Find a way to unisolate yourself. Do not let satan get you pulled off like a lost sheep, ready for the wolf attack. Pair up and get active for God! Do not let satan have the tiniest foothold for it can take years sometimes if you let depression set in.
• This occurred in the Bible when Judas commmited the sin of turning Christ into the officials. He tried to repent, he tried to give the money back, and obviously he could not or felt he could not go back to the disciples. He was not really wanted by the Saduccees, they got what they wanted. He was ostracized. So, he killed himself. This also happened when the prophet Elijah in 1st Kings 18 if you wanna look it up this is a fantastic story!!! He sat depressed and completely forlorn.

Exhaustion

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.

2 Timothy 4:7 ESV


Exhaustion: A strategy that seeks to erode the WILL and resources of a country, state, entity, or group.

We need not change this term.

• satan uses this tactic mentally on believers' will to continue the fight on Christ's side. There are so many people who are on the edge of giving up on God. They are crying out to Him and asking where is He. satan is eroding the will to follow in believers today. When a person loses the will to fight the good fight they slowly lose their resources also that help them fight that fight. What are their resources in this context? One is their spiritual gift/s. These are like muscles and you must practice and use them for them to continue to flourish, grow, and be useful. A second is the faith. If we do not consistently test and use our faith we can lose it. Faith is only faith is we have to jump without looking. A third way we lose resources in exhaustion is in our physical bodies. We physically become tired when we do not lean on God's strength and try to attack the race and war in our own strength. We must learn to lean on the Lord and His great power. The last way we lose in this term is in the emotional realm. Emotionally people are drained. The Bible says in the end times satan will try and wear out the saints. It says that many will be led away, even the saints. We must do all we can to perservere no matter what. I do not care if you never see another blessing while here on Earth! Keep your mind pointed to the prize of Heaven and Christ and you will WIN in this aspect.
• Example: When can you remember in the Bible that exhaustion was key in the current affairs? I’m sure after the death of Jesus for those three days everyone felt dijected and exhausted. When else is this used perhaps in battle in the Old Testament?

Exploiting

Luke 12 (ESV)

Beware of the Leaven of the Pharisees

12 In the meantime, when so many thousands of the people had gathered together that they were trampling one another, he began to say to his disciples first, “Beware of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy. 2 Nothing is covered up that will not be revealed, or hidden that will not be known. 3 Therefore whatever you have said in the dark shall be heard in the light, and what you have whispered in private rooms shall be proclaimed on the housetops.

Have No Fear

4 “I tell you, my friends, do not fear those who kill the body, and after that have nothing more that they can do. 5 But I will warn you whom to fear: fear him who, after he has killed, has authority to cast into hell.[a]Yes, I tell you, fear him! 6 Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies?[b]And not one of them is forgotten before God. 7 Why, even the hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not; you are of more value than many sparrows.

Acknowledge Christ Before Men

8 “And I tell you, everyone who acknowledges me before men, the Son of Man also will acknowledge before the angels of God, 9 but the one who denies me before men will be denied before the angels of God. 10 And everyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but the one who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven.11 And when they bring you before the synagogues and the rulers and the authorities, do not be anxious about how you should defend yourself or what you should say, 12 for the Holy Spirit will teach you in that very hour what you ought to say.”


Exploiting the Prevailing Environment: This is simply using whatever the environment or situation is lending to the situation as an asset.

For example, in World War One the opening march offensive of the Germans just so happened to be on a day with a foggy snow storm. They used it to their benefit.

Another example is that of Pearl Harbor. The Japanese used storm clouds and fronts as a means of camouflage and cover.

Night can also be used as an environmental cover.

• How can we use this ideal and technique for God? I would say that we need not always have meetings or prayer group time in our own homes, churches, synagogues, or holy places. I think we should change it up and meet in an unexpecting environment at times, one which satan and his minions might be not as aware. For instance, you could hold a meeting or prayer time in the middle of the war, on the frontlines. If your church is praying for say an area of the ghetto where gang bangers are doing driveby shootings. Yes it is scary but God has your back! Find a way to go to the front line where satan and his followers are less likely to be on guard. I'm sure they are all over watching churches, your coming and goings. Go where they least expect and use the environment as cover.
• Another way to turn this around is to hold a prayer group within a prayer group. Have a large number of prayer warriors hold a vigil at your church or fellowship hall. This group of prayer warriors will be praying specfically for Cover for you as you fight the battle in prayer in another room within their midst. Make sure they encircle you. Then, have a select number of prayer warriors and yourself meet in the center and pray for the specific things you need and are hitting hard on. You might say, why do they need to circle? In God's Word many times He speaks of Holy Ground, encircling, etc. Think of Jericho. What did they do? They marched around the entire encampment to bring the walls down. God is into places, details, and I believe that the spiritual realm is also. Try it and see if it does not help to double up in your prayer warfare.
• Be the REAL YOU in front of God. J

Force Concentration

I’m not gonna post it here but what the Jewish leaders and Roman officials did to Jesus is a pretty good example here for our purposes.

Force Concentration: This has to deal with actual swords or batons... The blade is edged so that it lands with more energy per square centimeter than an equally sides Blunt object.

Concentration of Effort: Determining where to best put your 'effort' acquires the edge in your favor.

For the Purposes of our list Force Concentration is the direct connection between the spiritual realm and the Earthly realm. The FORCE is the Power of God. We must learn how to Concentrate it where needed and when to ask the Holy Spirit to pray for us as He can Concentrate it dead center if we do not know the full picture.

• At the end of this book I tell a short story about a dream I had on how to kill demons. I thought of putting it here but felt it was a little over the top so I did not.
• In the Bible God uses pictures to show us what is going on in the spirit realm. We saw that with Elisha and his prayer to open the eyes of those around him to see the chariots and soldiers in the spirit realm. Also, mine and Ethan's experience of the angel, the demon outside, and his shooting at me. I believe that was God's way of showing that the demons could fight but would not win. What is God's Sword? His Word of course! Make sure to read up often on His Word and meditate it so that when the time comes you can wield it with as much force per square inch as you can muster. Be sure to include His Words in your prayer time if at all possible. Don't do this for the sake of sounding fancy and boisterous but do it to wield the sword and plant it deeply in the enemy.
• Concentrate your effort by together with your fellowship choosing where you need to wield your prayer time, your energy in getting the word out about God, your monies, and last your focus on your area around you. It is your job to tell others about Christ. One could just go around randomly picking and choosing whom to tell. You could do as I do and just listen wherever you go but at the same time you can also come up with a plan of action. Much more gets done if it is cohesive.

Guerilla Tactics

1 Peter 5: 8-9 ESV

Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. Resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same kinds of suffering are being experienced by your brotherhood throughout the world.



Guerilla Tactics: The enemy attacks then retreats - like a hit and run.

For the Purposes of our list Guerilla Tactics is when satan attacks then retreats, recoups, and comes again.

• This pretty much sums up our history to a tee. satan has been hitting and running since the dawn of his leaving heaven. satan does this with us as individuals, groups, families, kingdoms, countries, etc.
• Why a Hit and Run? Why not just All the time Hitting us? I think there are two reasons: First, Think about it. He must have only so many forces because he attacks, leaves, and comes back. He must consistently have to refocus and spread his forces all over. Can you imagine his wall of strategy with all his generals around. He is running out of options. Second, God protects us. If it were not for His divine protection we would all be in a lot of trouble!!!!
• Example 1: Jeremiah was accused of speaking blasphemies, ran away to be alone but God confronted him, preached for the Lord God's words, thrown in jail and then transferred to the prison of the guard, taken to a dark place and dumped in mud, was released, Hananiah made him out to be a false profit (he later died which Jeremiah predicted), was accused of being a false profit, beaten, ostracized, and put in jail again.... There are stories throughout the Bible of people living for God and enduring even through difficult circumstances and HITS.
• Example 2: Jesus was tried again and again by the Pharisees and Sadducees, regular people, and finally satan himself. Jesus was tempted probably daily in his ministry. satan would hit, run away for a while and hit again. satan need not hit him head on himself but can use others as he definitely did.
• The key here is to remember where he hit you before and to anticipate it.

Interdiction

The Bible verses necessary here are too long to post. I really want you to read them though! Look up Daniel 10 2-21. It is a Great Story!

Interdiction is the enemy attacking and interrupting enemy supply lines.

The key here for our purposes is to notice the word, supply lines. satan can see into the spiritual realm and therefore can see who is supplying what were. I'm sure God has a means of concealment but I also know when we open doors for satan its like giving him permission to see our goods. We must do all we can to shut down his means of attacking our lines of supplies.

• There are a lot of things to notice in these verses but we will see those on a seperate military term. For now, notice the time it took between when Daniel began fasting and praying, speaking for God to send help, and the time it took for the angel to fight the enemy lines to get to him. 21 days!
• Also, notice how it says that from the first day Daniel's words were heard.
• This is an amazing example of how the spiritual war is REAL and at hand. The angels are fighting a true war out there. We must understand the time it takes for them to get a job done and not get upset but continue to pray even when it takes a while.
• What do you mean by supplies? In an earlier term, artrition warfare, we spoke of satan attacking our materials. We have said he attacks our faith. He attacks our energies. So what are our supplies? God supplies us with angels to keep us safe. One of our supplies is our angelic host helpers. Another supply is our knowledge about how the spiritual realm works. He has attacked this for years! Christians have been crippled thinking they just had to take the hits. This is a LIE! We can fight! Last, a way satan attacks our supplies is by attacking the spiritual rules God has set up that are the basis of our universe. In the Get Spirit-FULL not Spiritual chapter you learned about the ways we can be hindered in our relationship with God. When satan attacks one of these base points that we must keep in line to focus our God Goggles, then he is Causing Interdiction in our lives.

Mine

The verses for this portion are the story of Jericho in the Bible found in Joshua 6. Take time to look the story up as it’s a little different but a good picture of tactics and tactics God uses. What other story can you think of or in your own life where satan uses this tactic?

Mine: Now this is not what you may think it is. This strategy is a siege method that was used in and since antiquity against large walled cities, castles, or fortresses in which a tunnel would be dug under the foundation itself. Then, pigs or other burnable materials would be place in the mine and set ablaze or the attackers would attain ground by going through the mine into the fortress.

Counter-mine: This strategy was used by those having their city attacked. They would build another mine Under the attacker's mine, thereby hopefully weakening it before it undermined the walls of the city or gave them ground.

• For the Lord's purposes we are using these terms to represent the temple of your mind, body, and soul. (The Lord is in you and therefore you are His temple). The opponents lay siege and dig away at your mental capacities, your stress levels, your physical well being and parts, or your time spent with God and therefore your soul state. They slowly dig away at the core strength of your temple. In the end, the enemy lays a final blow packing a whollop and taking down your temple.
• God's counter-mine is when He comes to the rescue and is your Avenger as He states in His word. His workers lay the counter attack and weaken their advantage point.

Have you ever been in a place where you felt this happening? Remember if you are there again and you feel your temple crumbling, if you are considering suicide or self mutiliation, if you are feeling like you are at the end... Cry out to Jesus for a Counter-mine. I guarantee you He knows what you need to get the enemy off your back!

No Quarter

Ephesians 6:12 ESV

For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.

John 8:44 ESV

You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father's desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, and has nothing to do with the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks out of his own character, for he is a liar and the father of lies.

1 John 3:8 ESV

Whoever makes a practice of sinning is of the devil, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the works of the devil.



No Quarter: Or Take No Prisoners, Show No Mercy, Kill them ALL; This order means to kill everyone even those who surrender. It is not mandated a crime of war to give such an order- not for satan though...

There is no need for a new definition here

• I believe this is the one major reason God is so angry with satan. Have you ever considered that satan could just ask for mercy? Why does he not just fess up and ask for another chance? I believe it is because he knows he has done so much damage to other people, their lives, their souls, and their chance to live with Christ and God forever. It truly is a irrecompensable sin. How could anyone ask for mercy when it involves SO many other souls? satan has had an attitude of taking no prisoners from day one. He isn't setting up a new Earth for his followers. He isn't setting up a new heaven for them either. He knows what their end will be, an end and that is it. He has no future plans to better them. He has no future plans to teach, love, or raise them up like our God does. People who openly worship satan or choose to follow the wiles of this world, does he treat them differently in the end when they are dead because they surrendered? Are they different and do get a special place to go to? Is he preparing futures for his followers? NO. He is out to kill and destroy. Even those who follow Him are not promised anything more than a good life here. We need no example here as we see people live it daily.

Patrolling

Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. 1 Peter 5:8

9 For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to give strong support to those whose heart is blameless toward him...” 2 Chronicles 16:9


Patrolling can be a small tactical unit sent out for the purpose of combat, reconnaissance, or a combination of both. The basic task of a patrol is to follow a known route at regular intervals looking out for anything out of the ordinary — which if found will be reported or dealt with as appropriate.

For our Purposes Patrolling is the church or Christ believing group setting up a unit of tactical individuals who set up a system according to God's Word to lead Picketers to Patrol the members of the whole group. This group will also look at the environment, community, and other necessary aspects to see if defense is necessary- action, prayer, or solutions.

• Pastors are inundated with tasks and jobs to do in the church. This is meant to be a group of individuals who are God called to hold the RANK of Patrolling Picketers. These are not people who gossip. See Picketing for more information on choosing Picketers.
• There is not enough accountability in the churches today. People are pretty much left to their own design. This is NOT the way the early church was set up after Christ came. Paul and the disciples held the members accountable for their actions and decisions. This was for their good. I hope to release a book detailing just how to do this according to God's Word. In the meantime, read through Acts for what the Lord says on such ideas.
• The last important note I want to say is read the verses above. God patrols. satan patrols. They both go around watching what is going on. If we are to try to be like God and Jesus then it is our job to also be aware and patrol. In police work or military work if you are not aware, watchful, do your reconnaissance, or send out troops to watch over your soldiers you will probably not last long. WHY ARE OUR CHURCHES FAILING? Simple. This issue right here. We are letting satan enter our churches and kill us from the inside out and from the outside in.

Picket

2 Corinthians 11:14 ESV

And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light.

Romans 1:28-32 ESV

And since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them up to a debased mind to do what ought not to be done. They were filled with all manner of unrighteousness, evil, covetousness, malice. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, maliciousness. They are gossips, slanderers, haters of God, insolent, haughty, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents, foolish, faithless, heartless, ruthless. Though they know God's decree that those who practice such things deserve to die, they not only do them but give approval to those who practice them.

Matthew 4:1 ESV

Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil.



Pickets or Piquets: Sentries or Advanced troops whose job is to warn off contact with the enemy. A soldier with this job is said to have Picket Duty.

For our military terms list Picket: is a rank in which we post sentries and advanced leadership whose job it is to warn us of contact with the enemy. Yes, they are on Picket Duty. This need to be a role in the church like it was in the early church.

• The Amish church still has this type of leadership still today. In our culture, this would be a no go because churches believe that they can be sued if they openly point out people's short points or sins but in the early church this was a BIG part of the churches' calling. Look at verses:
• I believe we need to REVIVE THE PICKET. We need people who are willing to discern along with Christ and call to attention those who are wallering in sin. I could have used this as a teenager. The church is a fellowship of believers who together support, teach, learn, worship, praise, and yes Admonish their believers. Christ called us to this! He called out Peter right in front of all the other disciples when He told them He was going to have to be crucified. He did not pull him aside and do it privately. Peter said he would not allow Christ to be hurt or crucified. Peter was always the defender and fiesty. Christ knew that this MUST take place for the souls of the world and instead of saying something like Peter, it must happen stop it He said, "Get behind me satan!". Have you ever read that and thought why He said that? Because. At that point in time the intention of Peter's heart was to thwart God's Will. Of course Peter loved Jesus and wanted to protect Him but he was not thinking of God's bigger picture. When we sin and cause unrest we make ripples, like the pebbles I told you about earlier in the book. Peter would have caused a millenial ripple if he had thwarted God's plan to make Jesus the sheep and blood covering for us. We also make ripples when we sin both in the physical and spiritual realm. Therefore, we need PICKETERS in our churches, people gifted with the spiritual gift of wisdom, discerning of spirits, leadership, administration, and mercy all rolled into one. These people should call to attention when people are sinning and it should be allowed, understood, and part of the church proceedings. Churches should NOT be afraid of being sued.
• This happened to be before in my life. I was married to a man who had an affair with a woman in the choir. Now, we made up, I had dinner with her, prayed for her. All was well. The problem was this was the THIRD TIME she had done this with a church member. As much as I loved her and forgave her the church should have kicked her out. Read verses: These verses plainly state that we are to protect the church against such people who Continually sin in the same area and will not change.
• SO I am calling all churches to assign PICKETERS in their RANKS. Let's set up our churches like God showed us how in the Word and in the end teach, exhort, and lift up our members so they can become more like Christ, not teach them to sweep issues under rugs. How is that being like Christ? In order to teach our church members to focus their God Goggles on God, they need to, we need to, at times have someone else help us to focus in and clear the dust away with love.

Profiling

Romans 8:5 ESV
For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit set their minds on the things of the Spirit.



SIMPLE AND SWEET

Don't Profile People- Let God Do the Profiling

Remember to use your toolbox in testing the Spirit of a person but also remember to do like law enforcement in that you are not to 'profile' a person. Law enforcement can at times look at the outside of a person, what they wear, drive, who they hang out with etc. This is called profiling. They are not 'supposed' to do this. Its hard because we all do this at times. Remember, the outward appearances of a person are not the tell tale signs of the inward appearance. Look to the spirit, actions, motivation, and heart - always.

Do unto others as you would have them to do unto you. You don't want people profiling you do you? ... ME neither.

Ranks: We all know what these are. They are hierarchal means of delegating roles and duties within a civil institution or military entity.

• Ranks are most definitely used in the spiritual realm. The order of angels and God include ranks. There are other verses in the Bible that speak of the ranks used in the spiritual realm but I chose these few for now for you to see how integral they are.

• Why are they so important in God's realm? Because.... God loves order. He is also great at delegating duties. He is a very clean and methodical God. You can see this in His thousands of creations, millions actually. Therefore, ranks are important.

• We need to adequately delegate duties and needs according to talents, skills, genes, abilities, and spiritual gifts in the body of Christ. We need to do exactly what God is doing in the spiritual realm and all wars. Delegate duties and spread the work evenly. Not enough people who believe in Christ are joining the RANKS. People who just accept Christ and never get plugged in are ineffectual and taking up space. They need to get plugged in and act for Christ. Remember, faith without works is dead is what the Bible says. This means that for your faith to grow and to augment itself you have to act on it. Get plugged in at your local church and start using your faith. Find your RANK in the Cause of Christ.

• Can a war be won if half of the soldiers are out doing what they want and have no direction? NO! Who has to whip them into shape? Their leaders. Whose job is it to choose leaders? The Church. We MUST accept the responsibility of our leaders and allow them to do their jobs. Leaders you MUST get busy and start not only delegating duties but holding people accountable. Just telling people about the Lord and leading Sermons is not enough. If this is all you are doing then you are not fulfilling your job description. YES, it's God's business to convict but it is ok for you to hold accountable. Let's get our armies in gear and start shipping up and shipping out. We have WORK to do.

Rehits

Ephesians 6:11-17 ESV

Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm. Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and, as shoes for your feet, having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace. ...



A way in which satan and the opposition works is by doing something to us all which I call Rehits.

AGAIN, this is a Simple and Sweet concept. Rehits are the just satan hitting us again in the same manner as before just putting a new twist or name to the hit itself. If you dissect your life, you can see these I promise. The Israelites did. They consistently Forgot what the Lord did for them and had to be reminded by God. In that lies the BIGGEST TIP on Rehits. Don't FORGET your LESSONS. Try and Learn your Lesson. Put it in your memory bank. Create a journal or folder for your Lessons to help you! Anything, to keep you from Forgetting and having REHITS.





Reconnaissance

“Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves. Matthew 7:15 ESV

31 "Simon, Simon, behold, Satan demanded to have you, that he might sift you like wheat,
32 but I have prayed for you that your faith may not fail. And when you have turned again, strengthen your brothers." Luke 22 ESV



Reconnaissance: is the military term for exploring beyond the area occupied by friendly forces to gain information about enemy forces or features of the environment.

For our purposes: This is the term we use for knowing our enemy fully which at times can be risky but beneficial.

• This term can be used for knowing satan and his workers more fully as well as learning more about false religions and their believers. This is an Extremely important aspect of waging war spiritually with Christ. For years, Christians were able to go about their business and not know a thing about other religions because our own faith was the predominant faith as well as was not challenged. Today, we live in a vastly different world where our faith is indeed challenged. Therefore, we need to study other religions as well as satan to be able to first prove and educate about our faith. We also need to be able to defend our faith. Last, in order to wage war or to hold the line we need to be able to understand other religions so we can help those who are part of them, show the love of Christ by understanding where and what they have been through, and when satan is concerned - well, you are reading this book to learn to wage war spiritually. So, yes, Recon is a Must. You have already taken the first step in knowing how to wage this term by taking part in the God Goggles Project!
• satan is doing his homework. We have read God's Word says he prowls around like a roaring lion looking to seek who he can destroy. Above, we see how he asked if he could sift Simon like wheat, similar to how he asked to do the same to Job. Jesus saved Simon from the sifting but Job was allowed to be tested. Remember fair is fair in war. If satan is allowed to sift us then why now we be allowed to sift him, his minions, and other religions or believers of other religions? Our sifting shall be done in love. We must perform Recon tactics to sift through their ranks and knowledge, or supposed knowledge. We must be thorough, just as thorough as satan is. Let's see how to do this below:

~RECON~

1. Have you ever taken a World Religions course? If not, once you finish this book attain a World Religions textbook. Make sure you choose one with a concise approach and also that is not opinionated but factual. You can find used ones at used college bookstores or I have even found them at the local Goodwill or Salvation Army. Take time to do a simple perusement of what other religions believe as well ask now your own faith so that when you come into contact with these you will be prepared to defend you faith. Now, you will only find the typical religions in these types of books.

2. I suggest, once you are firm in your foundation with Christ, finish the God Goggles Project and are not in a position to be easily swayed meeting along with a few of God Goggle Project members with people of other beliefs, specifically beliefs not found in World Religions textbooks. In this way, you can openly discuss and learn what they believe. Make sure that the individuals know you are merely doing research and are not interested in choosing their religion. This will keep from doors being opened in your heart. Be sure to pray diligently for a few days before meeting as well as meet on Holy Ground if at all possible.

3. You can rent materials at your local library in which to do RECON with also. I suggest renting these materials and either watching them, ie DVD's, or reading them on a Holy parcel of blessed land or church. Do not bring them home. I repeat, DO NOT BRING THEM HOME. You do not want to open doors. Again, before watching or doing RECON, pray pray pray and perhaps even fast.

4. I suggest buying another book entitled "Deliverance from Darkness" by James W. Goll. I was given this book when I was about 90% done writing this project. I have perused it and highlighted it to death. I have been focusing on my own writings and have not had to delve deeply but I can tell you that what I have read that God showed me, told me to really focus on, is astounding. In RECON you need to also explore your faith and how to combat satan hands on. This book seems to be extremely comprehensive! I am teaching you how to see God more fully in this project and not so much about how to expel demons and the like. This book is fabulous for this next step in your learnings. I think it is a MUST have in your toolbox. It seems to be something I will pull from constantly in the future as well. Remember, timing is everything. God brought it to me just now, at the end of the project so I am mentioning it to you in the same timing stance.

Soul Sack

5 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him.6 But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind. 7 For that person must not suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; 8 he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways. James 1 ESV



Sack: The deliberate destruction and or looting of a city or entity after having been assaulted.

For our Purposes: The Soul Sack is the deliberate destruction and looting of a believer's faith in Jesus Christ. This is satan's premeditative attack on the faith of an individual in particular, focusing on it harshly, using all of the other terms to do so. He whispers thoughts in their minds, creates and plants seeds of doubt. FAITH is the target. FAITH is the issue.

• Without faith we have nothing. When we die we must believe that Christ will walk us to our destinations. When we go through life we must believe beyond a shadow of a doubt in Christ and His abilities to protect us, teach us, and mold us. We must KNOW our needs will be met. If our faith waivers, we have nothing. God says, " “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’" Matthew 7:21-23 We must KNOW God. We know God through our faith.
• Has your faith ever been tested? To me, there seems to be a vast difference between one's faith being tested... tests allowed by God that strengthen slowly, fluidly, stretching and growing our belief and trust than in the Soul Sack where satan just continues to hit your thought processes and places seed after seed of doubt. I believe this happens when we too heavily lean on our own understanding. Many atheists lean on their understanding and intelligence but in the end completely miss the boat. Faith takes pure, hear me, pure trust. Simple. Child like, Trust. If you faith is tested, nip it in the bud, denounce satan immediately and his workers, send them packing and ask for God's help. Do not let one seed of disbelief reign in your heart.
• Like the verse above says, if you last wisdom ask and God will show you. If something is bothering you, you denounce satan and it remains, perhaps God is trying to show you something new. Take the door and knock. Ask God to help you walk through it in faith. There are times when God will speak to you and question you, to see if you are being faithful as well. Answer wisely and if you do not have the wisdom, ask.
• Doubting Thomas. I know you have heard of doubting Thomas before but have you read his story? If not, do so here: John 20:24-29. Notice, Thomas need not ask to see Jesus's wounds..... and notice what Jesus said in return.

There really are no questions one could ask here. Most subjects I can do so but Faith is something between you, God, the Holy Spirit, and Jesus. It is not my place to stretch this with you or for you. Just continually ask the Lord to show you what faith is. He will do it. As far as satan goes, satan believes. satan knows where he stands. I suggest praying for him to wake up, if that be possible, and ask for mercy. If not, well, there is nothing to combat satan and his faith. We must just be prolific in standing in ours and be a TRUE testimony to others, unto death if need be.



Siege

Martha and Mary


38 Now as they went on their way, Jesus entered a village. And a woman named Martha welcomed him into her house. 39 And she had a sister called Mary, who sat at the Lord's feet and listened to his teaching. 40 But Martha was distracted with much serving. And she went up to him and said, “Lord, do you not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Tell her then to help me.”41 But the Lord answered her, “Martha, Martha, you are anxious and troubled about many things, 42 but one thing is necessary. Mary has chosen the good portion, which will not be taken away from her.” Luke 10: 38-42 ESV


Siege: The military blockade or block of a city or entity with the intent of conquering by force or attriction warfare and is often accompanied by a sack or assault.

For our purposes: Siege is the above yes, it is a military blockage or block of the Soul with the intent of conquering by Force through Busyness and can be accompanied by any of the other attacks.

We Americans can surely attest to this mode of attack. We are Busy, Busy, Busy. satan loves to get us busy and therefore unfocused on God, how God works, the spiritual war at hand, and others. Do you read all four of those? Did you read all for of those? 'Do' and 'Did' are important here! ACTIVELY read all four. DO it. DID you do it?

• satan gets us Unfocused.
• on what? HOW God works, which is WHY you are reading & doing this project. If we are busy with life, what we things matters in life, what our culture tells us matters, our peers, and or what our goals are.... in attaining things, experiencing things, and living through things; we can miss the Point altogether.
• There IS a spiritual war CONTINUALLY. It doesn't stop for a lunch break. It doesn't take a vacation. It is continually happening, even while you sleep.
• Others. satan keeps us busy so we Forget Others and their importance. I am hugely problematic in this area. I get zoned in on myself and forget others' needs especially when I start remembering my past hurts. I easily forget my children have current needs, my friends have current needs, my husband, again, current needs. The past is the past. We MUST remember Others.

1. Notice in the above readings how Martha was 'distracted' by many things. She was Busy and not only busy, but busy at SERVING. Wow. We can even be busy in serving the Lord! Jesus said Mary had chosen well. She was spending Time with Him.

We CANNOT get busy. We MUST take time to slow down, spend time with God daily and not just in prayer asking for things. We Must study the playbook, God's word. We Must study and listen to Him speak. If we continue to let satan Distract us and lay SIEGE to us in our lives we will fall. If we do not do these things we will MISS cues, teachings, the small voice of God pointing the WAY. If you seek the path of righteousness and week to be a soldier for Christ you HAVE to man up, get on board, and do NOT get Busy.

Storm

Matthew 8 Jesus Calms a Storm

23 fAnd when he got into the boat, his disciples followed him. 24 And behold, therearose a great storm on the sea, so that the boat was being swamped by the waves; but ghe was asleep. 25 And they went and woke him, saying, h“Save us, Lord; we are perishing.” 26 And he said to them, “Why are you iafraid, jO you of little faith?” Then he rose and krebuked the winds and the sea, and lthere was a great calm. 27 And themen mmarveled, saying, “What sort of man is this, that even nwinds and sea obey him?”



Storm: To move quickly, steadily, and in rapid succession mimicking a storm.

For our purposes: A Spiritual Storm is when satan hits you full force with numerous tactics both in the spiritual realm and in the physical realm with rapid succession, steady, growing, and typically climaxing in a culmination of FULL Force. This is truly the pulling the rug out from under you tactic.

• Satan uses this principle when he hits you and you never knew what was coming. This tactic was used on our family this year. Remember when I wrote in the miracle chapter entitled Mercedes? Yep. FULL THROTTLE STORM.
• How could we turn this tactic and use this for God? We can do it by turning it around and being AWARE of this tactic. Remember in the chapter about baby Christians I mention that storms typically happen to new Christians? They also happen to Christians right before a Huge blessing. Yep. satan will try to get us off track and turn away from the Lord, which means that we would not inherit the blessing or we will not walk in the path that God wanted, which would lead to blessings. So, the first step in turning this tactic around for Christ is by acknowledging the tactic altogether. When the STORMS come, Praise God! Praise Him through the storms, through the valleys of death, and through the difficulties. Do not let satan allow you to get off track or to think God is not there. Read through Job during these times. He went through hell and back. It is SO easy when we go through storms to want to just throw in the towel. I have and my husband as well even verbatum said, "It's easier to not follow Christ! Let's quit." How awful! Remember to hang tough and that sometimes it takes a while for the angels to get through the spiritual battle to get to you.
• Storm satan Back!!!! .... How?
• SPIRITUAL BATTLE CLASSES. - I believe new Christians should ALL be given a spiritual battle class from the get go when choosing Christ. Why do so many Christians fall away after newly accepting Christ or over the early years? It is because of the storm in my estimation. We must help them to tackle this head-on. When I first accepted Christ at age nine noone told me this. There was no preparedness course for me. I got hit several times, over and over, culminating in the loss of my parents. Sense then, I have seen the ebb and flow of the hits depending on when I am following the Lord and when not. When I follow, I get HIT. New Christians are on fire for God, ready to work, and can start hitting satan where it hurts right away. They need to learn early on about the spiritual war and learn how to hone in on it. They need to learn all we are learning together in this book. We must get active quickly. There is no time to waste. We have major energy, are stoked, and wanna make a difference! We wanna tell the whole world about God and what He did for us!!! So, when you help your friends walk through the means of accepting the Lord, make sure and tell them its time for a STORM! Help them get busy. Don't let them go astray like many do. Continue to mentor that storm and help them to make a difference. Those key months after accepting God are strategically important. I will be making a more condense text for this idea of a spiritual battle class soon. In the meantime, please teach the newbies.
