God loves you. A huge part of the God Goggles Project and your ability to see the Lord, how He works, and how the supernatural realm works relies on your beliefs about God Himself.
As you go through this project, be sure not lean on your past baggage in life or anything that might make you feel like God does not love you enough to want to be with you. This just is not true. As you read my own testimony, think about how many years I felt horrible, just horrible, and that God wouldn't want someone like me. He does. He loves me. It doesn't matter what we do in life. If we are willing to stop, turn, and walk with Him- He will take our hand immediately.
Some people think of God with a picture of their own father relationship. If they had a bad father relationship it can be hard for them to picture a good, loving God. Your Earthly father is seperate from God.
So, for the purpose of the project I want you to think of God as He truly is. In the Old Testament He taught us His character: His Love, Creation Artist, Judgements, Teachings, Promises, and Justice. In His New Testament He brought us Jesus, which was the above in flesh. He has taken the time to send the Bible, His Word for you and I. I used to look at it like a Huge book that I would never get through reading the whole thing. I started small. I started just opening it and reading the first verses He brought to me. Little by little, He showed me greater and greater things. Now, He is showing me the spiritual world through my spiritual gifts. He will do so with you too but you must forget your preconceptions about Him if they are not good.
Look at this verse from Genesis: 19 Now out of the ground the Lord God had formed every beast of the field and every bird of the heavens and brought them to the man to see what he would call them. And whatever the man called every living creature, that was its name. Genesis 2 ESV

The Super-Natural
When dealing with the supernatural many people can take it too far. That is as plain as I can get. The God Goggles project, this book, is NOT a book to teach you any form of soothsaying, prophesying, divination, astrology, etc. I am NOT wanting or aiming at teaching you to learn about the supernatural for the means of figuring out the future or answer people's questions. This book is NOT to teach you how to talk to the dead. We will go over that but suffice to say God's word plainly states you are NOT to talk to the dead. I will post the verse later. This book is NOT a means of learning any of these things above. Now, that said, the closer you get to God and the more spiritual things He allows you to see, well satan will hit you with opposition and you will see some things that are from him too. You HAVE TO LEARN TO DISCERN where they are coming from. Also, if you are like me, I was born with some sort of being open to these things already. People like me are Easily pulled off track and satan can coerce us into all sorts of things. If you learn to see God more in the spiritual realm I want you to be prepared to be firm in the foundation of God's Holy Words and know how to make sure you know where all spiritual information is coming from.
This book is here to help teach you to walk with Christ and to have a relationship with Him.

It does not state that you will gain the ability to do xyz, you fill in the blank. It states you will learn to hear and to recognize. God does the supernatural stuff. He is the one in control. We cannot and do not make any supernatural occurrences happen. We do not dabble in those things. When you dabble in things of that nature you are opening doors you just do not want to go into. My husband can attest to that and I will be posting some of his experiences in this book as well as mine and others. God never meant for us to eat from that darned intelligence, knowledge tree. Period. He wanted us to Lean on Him. He wants to be needed. That is one of His major purposes. He wants to feel needed. When we go to anyone else for advice, well other than asking Him to speak through someone like another Christian or pastor, He abhors it! You have to have a balance and trust me, He knows your heart and motives. So just do not go there! Do not EVER mess with astrology, fortune tellers, soothsayers. You must test where the person you are getting advice from is coming from. AND, furthermore, I will not teach you or tell you what to do either. I'm serious on this note. This is serious stuff folks. Your creator makes the rules, so follow them.
I cannot state this more plainly enough than to say if you have purchased this book in the hopes of attaining as the New Age culture teaches a "higher level" of something in order to make your life manifest then you have purchased the wrong book. The New Age culture has taken the spiritual and supernatural basis of God and twisted it. satan has twisted it. We will go over this more in future chapters. So if you bought this book to learn how to dabble in the unknown for unGodly purposes; Take it back immediately to the store or purchase origin and get a refund if they allow that. I hope you got the full jest of those verses and the full brevity. God means business in this matter. Further down below, read Ezekiel 13 where the Word is quite clear on what happens to those who go against His laws and practice sorcery, prophesy, etc and are Not truly from or of Him. I certainly want no place in that, do you? NO way.
If God gives you the spiritual gift of prophesy then you are blessed but you MUST be sure it is of Him and not of yourself. This is oh so important. In my life, things have happened that helped me. For example, the time I was led and shown where the will was to help with my parents' deaths. There was no divination there. That was just the Lord, cause it certainly was Not me, helping me to find something to take care of my parents and us kiddos. I would never protest to being able to prophesy the future. I consistently check to see if I am hearing God and am so humbled and nervous about even writing this book. This is ultra- ultra important. We must consistently check to be sure and test the spirits - who we are hearing. If we are unsure then we must find a mentor who is spirit led and discuss it with them. In this way we can be sure we are right with the Lord. He knows our hearts and He knows our motives. Keep it Real folks.
God also says in His Word that if you are given the gift of tongues there needs to be someone present to interpret in group settings. Do not miss going by God's playbook when dealing with looking at the spiritual realm and spiritual things!!! We will talk about all these things in detail in the book though.
I do not believe in the counter culture concept of spirit guides. I do believe in being Spirit Driven. What is the difference? The difference is HUGE.
In the concept of spirit guides the idea is that a spirit guides us in the way we should go even to the point of allowing them to use our body if needed at times. The concept of being spirit driven in God is that either His Holy Spirit or His Angels, the good ones, guide you with little nudging and quick thoughts in something that needs to be said. Do you see the difference? The difference is where it comes from. Period. It's not a New Age Concept at all. It's another twisted idea that satan made. He took the idea God had of talking to us through his Holy Spirit and is making people believe they have spirit guides and forgetting the all important component, God. Or, He is twisting in in that Yes they are hearing from guides but not good ones. There are good angels and bad angels folks. Remember the Pendulum. It is part of everything.
This is yet another reason this book will at times not be politically correct. I'm just going to tell it like it is and like God states things are. If it offends you I apologize but this is just the way it must be. I have to stick to what our Word of God says for if I believe it, then I agree with it. As far as I know we live in a free country still and that means we all have our opinions. False Prophets Condemned
The word of the Lord came to me:“Son of man, prophesy against the prophets of Israel, who are prophesying, and say to those who prophesy from their own hearts: ‘Hear the word of the Lord!’Thus says the Lord God, Woe to the foolish prophets who follow their own spirit, and have seen nothing!Your prophets have been like jackals among ruins, O Israel.You have not gone up into the breaches, or built up a wall for the house of Israel, that it might stand in battle in the day of the Lord.They have seen false visions and lying divinations. They say, ‘Declares the Lord,’ when the Lord has not sent them, and yet they expect him to fulfill their word.Have you not seen a false vision and uttered a lying divination, whenever you have said, ‘Declares the Lord,’ although I have not spoken?”
Therefore thus says the Lord God: “Because you have uttered falsehood and seen lying visions, therefore behold, I am against you, declares the Lord God. My hand will be against the prophets who see false visions and who give lying divinations. They shall not be in the council of my people, nor be enrolled in the register of the house of Israel, nor shall they enter the land of Israel. And you shall know that I am the Lord God. Precisely because they have misled my people, saying, ‘Peace,’ when there is no peace, and because, when the people build a wall, these prophets smear it with whitewash, say to those who smear it with whitewash that it shall fall! There will be a deluge of rain, and you, O great hailstones, will fall, and a stormy wind break out.And when the wall falls, will it not be said to you, ‘Where is the coating with which you smeared it?’Therefore thus says the Lord God: I will make a stormy wind break out in my wrath, and there shall be a deluge of rain in my anger, and great hailstones in wrath to make a full end.And I will break down the wall that you have smeared with whitewash, and bring it down to the ground, so that its foundation will be laid bare. When it falls, you shall perish in the midst of it, and you shall know that I am the Lord.Thus will I spend my wrath upon the wall and upon those who have smeared it with whitewash, and I will say to you, The wall is no more, nor those who smeared it,the prophets of Israel who prophesied concerning Jerusalem and saw visions of peace for her, when there was no peace, declares the Lord God.
“And you, son of man, set your face against the daughters of your people, who prophesy out of their own minds. Prophesy against them and say, Thus says the Lord God: Woe to the women who sew magic bands upon all wrists, and make veils for the heads of persons of every stature, in the hunt for souls! Will you hunt down souls belonging to my people and keep your own souls alive?You have profaned me among my people for handfuls of barley and for pieces of bread, putting to death souls who should not die and keeping alive souls who should not live, by your lying to my people, who listen to lies.
