Love For Righteousness: A Condition For Personal Revival

"You have loved righteousness [You have delighted in integrity, virtue, and uprightness in purpose, thought, and action] and You have hated lawlessness (injustice and iniquity). Therefore God, [even] Your God (Godhead), has anointed You with the oil of exultant joy and gladness above and beyond Your companions. [Ps. 45:6, 7.]
(Hebrews 1:9 AMPC)

As a blood-washed child of God, you must love what is right as defined in God's word. You must also hate what is wrong as defined in God's word. Here, we need to examine ourselves, are these true for us? If not, we need to plead with God to wrought such works in our lives. How happy are we when righteousness reigns? How sad are we when wickedness is in charge?
This is a prerequisite God looks for in the lives that He wants to use to fulfil His mandate on earth. The Scriptures is replete with saints that possessed these qualities. Gideon was such a man, he was quietly saddened by the oppression of the Israelites in the hands of the Midianites. God saw that quality in him and later engaged him to spearhead the revival of that time.
Are you saddened by the evils in our soceity? Or you are just playing along with them?
For the anointing and commissioning of God to come upon your life, you must, among other things, ask God to bless you with love for righteousness and perfect hatred for wickedness.

ACTION PLAN: Search your heart, is there a quiet admiration for wickedness and those that practice them? Do you quietly feel that the righteous is going too far in standing for God? Repent today and ask God to bless your life with this eternal blessedness.

PRAYER: Father, create in me the love for righteousness and perfect hatred for wickedness. Amen.
