A few times lately I've seen life as different kind of jigsaw puzzles.
Sometimes have a 5 piece puzzle where we easily can see where we're going and where all the different pieces goes. And then there's the times with 50 pieces...a little more tricky but not impossible to figure out, takes a bit more effort that's all.
But it's when we get to the 100, 500, 1000 or maybe 10 000 pieces where we can spend time trying to fit different pieces together and just gets frustrated cause not a single piece seems to fit with another. All we have is a bunch of pieces, no picture to look at to get clues from.
Where am I going with this you might ask yourself. Getting there, I promise.. thing is, God's holding the picutre of our puzzles. He knows exaclty where each piece fits. And sometimes He is trying to tell us "That piece don't fit there, leave that one for now. It will be used but not til later." Problem is we're to busy trying to make the piece fit that we may not be listening to Him.
If we just stop and look to Him, listen to Him, He will help us solwe the puzzle. He will tell us which peice will go where and when to use them. Whatever it is.
Matt 11:28-30
"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light." (NIV)
Psalms 32:8
I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go;
I will counsel you and watch over you. (NIV)
Psalms 121: 1-2
I lift up my eyes to the hills—
where does my help come from?
My help comes from the LORD,
the Maker of heaven and earth. (NIV)
Those a just a few verses on where He tells us to look to Him.
