Holding On

When everything feels overwhelming and it seems like no one is there to care, please hold on. We are never alone - Christ is here for us.

I always picture my hand reaching up, and His reaching down to grab hold of my hand. I don't have to hold me up - He will pick me up. No matter what we are going through, He's there. No matter how hopeless it seems, He is there.

Recently, I've struggled with physical challenges, and am still going through some of them. One of the things I have to remember, is that I'm not the one in control - Christ is in control and He is helping me to make the right choices, and helping me to fix them when I've made the wrong ones.

I can't change what has happened in the past, but I can change my attitude and my responses. Even when it hurts, I can acknowledge it and move through it. I can reach deep inside and take a deep breath knowing that God is in control and holding me up. I don't have to go through the pain and struggles alone.

So when you're feeling lonely, hurting, or struggling in some other manner, know you aren't alone. God cares, and my PM box is always open.
