High standards. You shouldn't hold your friends in such high regard that they have nowhere to go but down. You can't expect them to do everything that you think they should. The point of friendship is loving someone for who they really are.

I seem to project my personality onto everyone so much that when they make a decision that I wouldn't, I am disappointed in them. It's not that it's a bad decision. I'm just surprised that our feelings aren't the same on certain subjects.
