"My desire and constant prayer is that I would succeed in coming to you, according to the plan and timing of God." (Romans 1:10 TPT)
Oh, that I will do everything according to the plan and timing of God! There is time and purpose for everything under the sun. But oftentimes, we handle issues as situations presses them on us, never taking few seconds to ask for God's direction. We seldom ask in our spirits if it time for those things. The servant of God in the our text above, understands that it is more profitable to visit the brethren in Rome, at the time alloted for it by the Father. May this be our daily cry to God. May God make us a people that undertake everything in their time.
Many of our failures in life are as a result of undertaking tasks outside their time.
"For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God." (Romans 8:14 NKJV)
When we allow the Holy Spirit to lead us, we will always be at the right place, at the right time, doing the right thing. Otherwise, we will become miserable and frustrated. It is frustrating to do the right thing at a wrong time, it may eventually become a wrong thing.
ACTION PLAN: Let us cultivate the habit of silently asking God in prayer if it time for a particular task or not.(This is necessary especially when things are happening very fast)
PRAYER: Father, help me to always seek Your plan and timing for everything.
