Another crucial ingredient of being fuel for revival in our days, is death on the Cross with Jesus. People that are still alive in their old nature, can never be faithful to God. Faithfulness to God and His course depend on our pursuit of Him and Him alone. It depends on being dead to everything the world system is offering.
"I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me." (Galatians 2:20 NKJV)
The skin upon our sacrificial animals must be removed. The skin is a representation of the old life that will never please God. It rather orchestrate events that contradict the laws of God. There is no other way of causing a fruit to continue producing its kind except by planting it. A seed that has been planted will also not be able to yield fruits except it is subjected to death first then life will spring forth afterwards. Therefore everyone that want to be fruitful in a way that surpasses human knowledge, must be willing to undergo death. This death is not physical but spiritual. Everything about him and his aspiration must be uprooted. He must now begin to behold the face of God for his assignment in life. Whoever commit himself to God in this manner, will never become a nonentity. God will surely sanctify, beautify and glorify him.
ACTION PLAN: Bring your life to the altar of sacrifice. Let the Cross of Jesus terminate the old life for you.
PRAYER: Father, help me to fully maximise all the provision of the Cross of Jesus.
